I really think this is the main reason most of all come for?

You can see what and how we do this. First of all they have it set up by age. Then times and figured out. It really is a blessing to see how much fun everyone has with the Easter Egg Hunt.Plus it is team work to set it all up and make it happen. How they do it is , depends on how many kids are lined up. Then they tell them, you are only aloud to pick up, say 7 eggs. If there are any that don't get the 7 eggs,, we will give them to them. It is a win for all. All the kids get the candy plus it is fair. 

I can tell you this at the end of the day I was dragging. My main job it to make sure every one has supplies, ice, pop or what ever they are selling. I had to go out twice for the ice. Which is kind of nice to get away. I even when to McDonalds for lunch. As I was getting the ice we needed. 

It is Saturday and what is going on?

I started out working on the train, you know make sure it is ready for Easter Monday. Plus I needed to get the sound system up and running. Last year I really forgot what we did. But as I kept looking at tings I think this will work? I worked around the property to make sure we are some what ready. Eric went over to Johnson house and picked up this large elephant. Mr Johnson had this left over from New Years day Junkconoo. He is part of the Sassons. 

Then I went and picked up my son (Kevin) at his mom's place. We were invited to Singles from Calvary Bible. We meet a place in Sandy Port called the Twisted Lime. Had some good food and just sat around and talked a little. Then Rudy came and boy we started talking then. I don't remember how it started, but we got a talk about other religions. We all left there an drove over to Star Bucks. They were closing for the night. So let us go to the Star Buck at the hotel. Got to that one and they were closed too. So we saw some seats and hung out for another hour or so. It was fun just sitting and talking. Boy we had a lot to talk about. The different religions that are out there. Around 10pm it was time to get going back home. 

So what did you do on Good Friday?

I really had a wonderful day. First of all I got to help out at Calvary Bible in the morning. We had a church service and I did the walking around to make sure all is well. The real sad part is they use to pay for securely during the church services. The reason was there has been cars broken into. One Sunday night service one of our older woman got robbed. So instead of paying for that, each Sunday some one volunteers to walk around and just keep a eye open on what is going on in the parking lot. Folks before I came here to the Bahamas, that was one of my jobs to over see the parking ministry. That meant, we had volunteers (48) coming in and help park cars. Now at Calvary Bible we have around 70 cars. So parking is not the problem here, securely is. Back at Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale, Fl. Now that was a job, trying to get all the cars (4000 or so) in before service started and then get them out afterwards. So we can bring in the next service visitors. So walking around the parking lot here is a piece of cake. Back there I had to ride a bike or a golf cart to see all that was going on in the 6 or 8 parking lots. We have changed tings up a little since I left there. The real neat ting is the Easter Services and Christmas. Now that is a job and half. You need so many more people to get them in and out. 

The real neat ting is Easter Service, that is now at FAU stadium, Boca Raton, Florida. So tomorrow the guys helping out with that is going to be a lot of working and just setting up, I think today, cone and signs and what ever is needed to get them in and out. I think it starts at 6am sunrise,on Easter morning. I have heard that Frankin Graham is doing the teaching on Easter Sunday. That sure should be a FULL HOUSE. 

Please say a prayer or two for Jon Bunch, he is the over seer now and I know his hands are full. He is the one that took it over just before I left to come to the mission field. 2005. 

Okay after the church service I had a chance to go over to Billy's home and have a wonderful lunch. That right, Snapper and hot cross buns. That is what all Bahamian love. Everyone here on the islands usually has this for Good Friday lunch. It was so good. The only problem with snapper is the bones. Boy they are every where. So I got the main spine out, but still had small ones to deal with. Then after that had some ice cream and brownies. It really was a relaxing afternoon. Just sitting around and talking about all that has been going on and even about what they would like to do with their house plans. I am so blessed to call them my family. I know every time we get together, it is some fun. Billy and his family are so welcoming and loving to me each time I see them.

Okay this is prep day for Easter Monday

I was so busy trying to get tings in order all day long, I just didn't take any other pictures except these two. On Saturday I have other work to do so I will have more this week-end. 

Over all we are pretty much ready for our day. Going over the list in my head, The back trial only needs the signs put up. A large sheet for the Heaven seen needs to be hung up on the rope that is there. The train only needs more fuel, plus the sound system hooked up. All the pop up tents are needed to go up. Over all by Monday this place will be looking great and ready for our guest. Oh the coolers need to be put in place. They are all ready full of pop. 

Today is a day to reflex on what JESUS CHRIST did for US. Please if you don't go to church today ad least set a little time aside for HIM. Please remember what this day was for.

I know you are going to watch this and say, WHEN? Folks I know the Bible doesn't tell us when Jesus is coming back. But it does tell us to keep our eyes on the signs.

This is prep for prep day

Okay my main job for this day was running the rock from the Camp to the Centre. Using the John Deere. I am not sure how many, but it sure was a lot. Last week I had 10 yards of rock and sand delivered to the Camp. Reason was we needed it to make cement up for the porch plus. As I was looking on I see we are done for now.So over at the Centre our road for the train is in rough shape. It really needs to be done correctly. But as it is now, the time is winding down for out Fun Day. So Sean and I worked on that pretty much all day. 

Then Sean asked me about the large mower. I told I would try to get it up before lunch time. Which I did. But it will still not correct. The drive belt I bought is now to short. I got the wider one, but now it is short and will not fit at all. So I put the old one one and put the belt around a peg that is suppose to be behind it. But is worked okay for the day. 

Then I looked at the train horn again. I did talk with Dr. Bob yesterday morning and he said try using the ground on the horn. Okay I said I would give it a try. Will it didn't help at all. Still not working. I took the wires off and notice the wire broke off. I re cut the wire and hooked it back up again and IT WORKS NOW, WHY? So during that time I wrote down all the noises it can make with the different number. There is no sheet to explain that. But now it works and we know what number is for what sound it makes. Hopefully today I can hook it up on the train.

It was for $50.00. While sitting in my truck, figuring out if I will need to use this or not. The reason was I didn't really need that much food stuff. So I said I will take another $15.00 with me to make sure I don;t go over. Okay while walking around I try to keep a eye on how much I have in the cart.This is in my head, trying. Got to the girl up front and she started ringing me up. I saw I was getting close I just took the two meats off the belt. She rang is up and it came to $54.71, okay gave it to her and a $1.00 to the kid packing, I still have $10.00. Okay ring up the two meat items. It came to $9.99. God is so good to me. It worked out to be right to the dollar. Folks I had more money in my truck, what I am trying to share is His knows all. I just love to share about what He does in my life. I am very blessed and want the world to know Him as I do. He will never leave you alone. 

Alright it is dinner time????

Last night I was making barbecue chicken breast. Then let us have some Mac and Cheese. I looked at the front of the box an said, boy this is some old stuff. But what can go wrong with that? I pulled the cheese pack out and saw, looks like pieces of card board, stuck to it. That looks funny? Then I got my glasses out and looked inside of the box, saw little bugs walking around. How can that be. The box has no holes in it? How did they get in there. Then I thought about the way the box looked at first, old and faded. I thought this must be one of the tings Eddie picked up last year for us. We use to get out dated stuff from this one ware house. Since Eddie is not here now, they have stopped giving us that. So these little bugs have been eating in there for a while. By His grace I had another, newer box on the shelve. Please always look inside of the box, with your glasses ON.  

Okay are we ready to have a FUN DAY?

That right our Fun day is coming. Eric had some free time so he asked if he could help he. After I did some running around trying to get supplies for the group. I said sure, let us see what we can get done. So Dr. Bob's saw horses are the ticket to hold up tings now. Before they were for the Trolley. That is finished and now we have them for all kinds of tings to use them for. The angel that Kevin made needed to have some strong enough to hold it up. It is working great. Now we didn't fasten the card board yet. Do that on Easter Monday morning. Thinking maybe rain or even some else could destroy it. So he is in the classroom until then. The misters are working great. That what is behind the green trap. That way when the train comes around that area the water will be turned on and mist will fly out. It is suppose to be the first day God created. Then see the cross. using the saw horses that too. Holds it up,strong  So tomorrow is our day to get every thing in place and be ready for Monday. 

That's right Fun Day is coming,next Monday. Easter Monday

Folks it is funny how fast every thing seems to be going. It is Easter Monday next week. We need to let the world here know that we are having a FUN DAY???? During our time there on Blue Hill and round about. Getty hit a small little car trying to make a turn, that is what it looked like from my view. But as we handed the fliers out the people seems to be more open on taking them. I was looking at my phone to see the time. The reason was I was doing the devotion that morning. So I told Zac, okay we need to get going, 8:15am. So driving back I took Harold Road. I saw Mark still handing them fliers out. I asked are we suppose to get back by 8:30am? He told me no. Keep handing them out. So I gave him some of ours and left to get back to Blue Hill. We didn't finish handing them out until 9:30am. You can see the story below on how that all worked out. 

As our day started out

Folks my main thing is to keep them stocked up and ready to get it done. So as my day started out, you can see above what Zac and I did first ting in the morning above. Then I got over here around 9:30am and the guys were asking for this and that and what ever else was needed. I did get a little up set with, we need cement? I told them I will get it as soon as I can. Which ended up around 11am. Which is okay. They got the porch poured and leveled. The girls got a lot of painting done. Dave did the pressure washer. Over all it really went well after every one was set. 

I even sprayed the new bath house ceiling with bleach. Hopefully today we will pressure wash that and maybe not have to paint it? 

Last night we all had a chance to spend some time eating.

That right, I am eating again. I had a friend of mine tell me every time he looks at the blog he sees me eating? That funny for me, because I can sit down and just take some pictures during that time and relax a little. Okay this is the group I shared with you a couple of days ago. Delhi Alliance Church. Man they have been keeping me hopping. The reason I say that is, they keep working themselves out of jobs to do. But we are so blessed to have them and their willing hearts to do what ever is needed. At the end of the meal they pretty much gave each of us a gift certificate from our favor store. Super Valve, that is one of the main food stores here. We can always use food money.
