Well yesterday morning sun rise was beautiful.

This is walking out to my truck around 7 am. I get to start a new day. Just like each and everyone out there. His Mercuries are new each morning. That means if you blew it the day before, which I know I did, just ask Him and you get to be forgiven and see what happens this day? 

This is a sign on the storage area, called Stairwell #1. Okay I was walking by it and was going to go in until I saw the way everything is not in place. So I asked God to forgive me for my thoughts. Just walk away. 

In about two hours later. I walked by here again. Thank You for who ever cleaned it up. I went over to the sport department for CCA. I usually just send a e mail to my boss and say, look at this mess AGAIN. So this time I went and just thanked them for cleaning and just to let them know how much we appreciate the extra effect. 

Got a shipment in of ten (10) 6 ft plastic tables. The reason is the ones we have now have been here since  before I left back in 2005. So some of them have cracks and just worn out. As the shipment came in yesterday. You can see how rough the pallet below. The sad part is, I believe when they loaded it up on the truck, using a fork lift. The pallet broke up and punched a hole into the box and caused the table to get a crack? 

Now have to return it. I guess tings happen. 

Today is beautiful out again. Hopefully go for a bike ride. 

Okay the search is on. Looking for my new home.

This place is called the Oriole Gardens 2. This place is a two bedroom and two bath. Walking in very nice and clean. Checked out the ceilings and under the sinks for leaks. I didn't take any pictures of the inside. Reason I have them on the web site already.

This is the back yard. On the other side of the bushes there is a canal. So it should be pretty quite.

This is Frank, he is the president of the association of the 550 condos. Really nice guy. I saw him in the pool area and was asking him all kinds of questions. Which was really helpful. 

There are two pools, the heated one and the Canadian one. Which means not heated.

The people around the pool I had a chance to ask them what they thought of the place. Pretty much everyone said great. 

They even have movie night. remember how I was telling you all, that where I live now. They have movies playing there too. 

Folks I just started looking. I saw three places yesterday and this was the one I walked away saying nice. The other two were okay. Even one of them was completing redid. The tile floors and bathrooms top of the line. The only problems were, the back porch was really in rough shape. Even called the one that listed it and was told it was a pending contract on it already. So guess not that one. 

Okay guys Valentine's Day is around the corner.

Porn, Sex and the Christian

More than ever today there is a deep need for sexual restoration, healing and change.

The statistics are alarming. “Sex” and “Porn” are among the top five searched terms for kids under the age of 18 on the Internet. Thirty-five percent of ALL internet downloads are pornographic. Every second $3,075.64 is being spent on porn. On average there are 116,000 searches for “child pornography” every day. Every day there are an estimated 68 million pornographic search engine requests.

In 2006, the pornography industry was larger than the revenues of the top technology companies combined; Microsoft, Google, Amazon, eBay, Yahoo!, Apple, Netflix and EarthLink. Sex is the number one topic for internet searches. The average age of initial pornography exposure is 11. Fifty-six percent of divorce cases involved one person having an obsessive interest in pornographic websites.

“Sex” and “Porn” are among the top five search terms for kids under the age of 18.

The fact of the matter is pornography and a distortion of sex is completely destroying us. Christian pastors continue to be found in infidelity, sex scandals and secret sin. There seems to be little difference between Christians and non-Christians in their sexual behavior (in fact a recent CNN article cited that 88 percent of non-Christians aren’t waiting for marriage, and 80 percent of Christians aren’t waiting either in the coming generation).

A Christian’s sexual behavior can hardly be distinguished from the non-believing person these days. The only difference is probably that the Christian suffers way stronger from guilt, shame and brokenness because they know better. That was me at least.

Before I was a Christian I sought almost entirely to find my identity in women. The society told me to be a man, I had to sleep with a lot of girls, and so I did. But it only led me down a path of more hurt, guilt and emptiness. It took me years to realize I was doing it primarily because no one in my life told me I was a man, so I had to go prove myself and remove all shadow of a doubt.

 I see looking back that the lack of a father figure in the home is devastating to sexual behavior. It was through these thoughts and a range of circumstances that I came to Jesus and saw His beautiful redemption and fullness given freely in the cross.

The problem though was almost all my other temptations (such as drinking, smoking, etc.) began to fade except the power of sex seemed to change little. I still desired to run to it when I was mad, or needed satisfaction. The only change was now I also simultaneously hated it. I would do it and then just loathe myself for doing something I knew God did not condone. It was a true Romans 7 battle of the flesh and the spirit warring against each other.

I would struggle with questions such as “If I’m a Christian, why do I still struggle? Why does it seem I have no power to conquer this? Am I saved? Does God love me?” On top of that I was going to a church that seemed perfect. Due to the fact they always put a clean and squeaky guy up on stage to share his testimony on Sunday, I figured I was the only one having these problems and struggles.

It was right at that time I was close to throwing in the towel on my walk because it was just too difficult and depressing, when some older godly men started to share with me their struggles, their hurts and their hard spots in their marriage. They started to be transparent, raw and real, showing the true meaning of boasting in the cross of Christ alone. At first I was amazed and shocked. I remember thinking for the first time, I wasn’t alone. It was through that period that I finally began to experience victory and see just how beautiful Jesus’ redemption was because I had freedom to struggle.

The truth is, the fact we wrestle is one of the biggest signs we are saved to begin with. Do dead people wrestle? Do corpses struggle? No. It is only because we have been made alive that we are a new creation.

Because the truth is, the fact we struggle with sin is one of the biggest signs we are saved to begin with.

So, stop looking and striving for purity, and start looking and striving towards the face of Jesus, and purity will happen as a by-product. We have to see that the cross is something done for us, to give us a perfect and beautiful relationship with our Creator.

We don’t have to hide, feel guilty or swim in shame. When you feel the need to “pay” for your sin, remember Jesus paid for it all, and with a triumphant cry declared ‘it is finished!’ God knew you were going to be messy, that’s the whole point of the cross!

So, stop worshipping sex, and start worshipping Jesus. When’s the last time sex forgave you? When’s the last time it delivered on its promise? Jesus is the only one who has done that. Let Him crush your idols. He is worth it. He foresaw all our sin, all our shortcomings, all the times we’d run back to lust instead of Him, all the times we’d fail and He still joyfully came and got us (Hebrews 12:2).

So, rest in that fact. Rest knowing that Jesus wants you, not your stuff or your behavior. He just wants YOU.

Throughout the years, there are many Christian songs that have come and gone. Many were really good and touched many lives, but maybe they were here just for a season. Then, there are those songs that are timeless.
Is any hymn more beloved than Amazing Grace? The lyrics do seem to sum up a Christian’s journey of redemption, the divine grace of God, and the promise of eternal life. With its simply-stated definition of eternity: “When we’ve been there 10,000 years…we’ve no less days to sing God’s praise than when we first begun,” it is no wonder that it is sung at many funerals. You can better understand how the lyrics are able to capture the true meaning of God’s amazing grace when you realize just how the hymn came to be written. An Anglican priest, John Newton, used the hymn to reflect on his earlier service as captain of a slave ship. He could think of nothing more evil than those deeds, and was amazed God would provide such grace despite his wretched past. Note the passion in his words:
Amazing grace, how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me!
I once was lost, but now am found, was blind, but now I see.
‘Twas grace that taught my heart to fear, and grace my fears relieved;
How precious did that grace appear, the hour I first believed!
Through many dangers, toils and snares, I have already come;
‘Tis grace has brought me safe thus far, and grace will lead me home.
I hope you’ll claim that grace today. It’s there for the taking.

What gift has God given you?

“Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise. Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works.” Hebrews 10:23-24 (NLT)

In the movie, Jakob the Liar, Jakob is a prisoner in a Jewish Ghetto in Poland during World War II. Everyone living there has lost all hope of ever being rescued and many have resorted to suicide. Jakob hears a radio broadcast and shares what he has heard with his friends. The news travels like wild fire through the ghetto. Jakob is moved by the renewed sense of hope he sees and so embarks on a plan to keep hope alive in the ghetto.

While watching this movie, I was astonished by the power of hope. Many of us have only a sketchy idea of what it is like to live without hope and we so easily take for granted the hope we have in Christ. “And this hope will not lead to disappointment…” (Romans 5:5 NLT)

We forget that we are living in as dark a place as Jakob was. People all around us are living and dying with no hope!

We have the hope. The hope that will not only give them purpose in life but will rescue them eternally!

What if we were to use the gifts God has given us to overwhelm others with the love of Jesus? What would happen if we had an outbreak in our churches of love and good deeds? Would people see the hope we have in Christ? Would they be “infected” with our love for God and others? What if we couldn’t contain this pandemic? Remember, it just takes one!

Thought: What gifts has God given you? Take some time to evaluate what gifts you have and ask God how He wants you to use those gifts to bring His light into the dark places where you live.

I had a great opportunity, yesterday to work along side of Josh.

This is one of our campus. It is called Midtown. Location is in Wilton Manors, Fl. It is only about 10 miles away from the main campus. Here we do church services every Wednesday (6:45 pm) Then on Sunday (10:15 am) Why did we need to come over this way yesterday. Well there are two (2) classrooms that another church use to use. Now as we are needed the rooms. The other church has moved on. So Josh and I had a chance to work together. There was one problem, the church didn't leave the old keys. So we had to break into the classroom. That is why you see Josh drilling and then getting a chisel out and breaking the bolts off. But we got in and did our job. 

Now meanwhile I didn't just stand there and watch. I had my own locks to replace. It was funny but we didn't finish up until after 5:30pm. 

BIG EYES. man this was a good movie. No swearing or sex or any bad stuff at all. It really was enjoyable. You can see how packed the theatre was? Oh really might be because the fist night it was playing was Super Bowl Night.

 At the end the crowd even clapped their hands. Please if you have not seen it, it is worth the trip to the Red Box.

Not sure how she got up there?

I have written about her before. This is Priscilla. Last week you saw her eating a couple of mice. So while doing my walk around yesterday I saw her like this. Not sure what she is thinking, maybe I can escape if I hold on? 

She really doesn't have much to do. So maybe she is still up there today? I will go check on her as the day goes by.

Then he said, “Faint-heart, what got into you?” Matthew 14:29-31 (MSG) The call of discipleship is to follow after Jesus, even onto the water. In a sense, Jesus beckons, “Come closer to me. Be my disciple and learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I am the only way, so I require you to focus exclusively on me in your obedience.” Then, to underscore the need for this single-minded obedience, the Bible tells us that Peter became distracted. As he sees the wind whipping across the waves, Peter takes his focus off Jesus and he begins to sink into the water. His obedience is now double-minded – and he provides a profound object lesson in what happens when we try to serve two masters. Here is the way of little faith: We want to walk on water; yet, we insist on being able to focus on whatever we want — sometimes Jesus, sometimes the wind and waves; sometimes Jesus, sometimes our careers and casual pursuits; sometimes Jesus; sometimes “the sin that so easily entangles” (Hebrews 12:1 NIV). When we choose to focus on our cares and worries, we elevate our anxieties to the same status as the promises of Jesus. But, which is more important, which should demand our greater attention – the ability of Jesus to care for us or the concerns we have about our circumstances? And so, rather than obeying the commands of Jesus, we demand he tolerate our distractions and double-mindedness. We live within a mythology that says we can somehow follow after Jesus, yet pick and choose what commandments we will obey — and when we’ll obey. But, if we want to walk on the water with Jesus, we must hear his directing us, ‘Don’t look at the waves; look at Me.

This is one of our reptiles

Her name is Priscilla. I have been told, As I work here. I see that we do things a little different than what happen in the Bahamas, ALC. Here I have been told to feed our reptiles, fist of all, take them out of their cage and put them into this one. The reason is they don't get use to people feeding them. Plus I was told that when you feed them by hand, they might not know your fingers are different than their food. So her she is eating her food. Feed her four (4) mice. When we buy them they are in freezer bags and have to thaw them out first. But by looking on you can see she is very happy to be fed. 

As she has been growing, thinking maybe she needs a bigger cage? We will see what happens on that. 

Anyone who calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved, Romans 10:13

I have been privileged to counsel personally thousands of people – men, women, young people, children – about their spiritual needs. The experiences that remain uppermost in my heart and mind have a direct bearing on this verse.

Helping people to see their truly desperate plight outside of saving faith in Jesus Christ is sometimes difficult, but what a reward awaits those who become aware of their condition. No matter what their background – criminal, alcoholic, self-righteous, or whatever – uninformed people need to recognize the fact that they are lost without Christ.

Accomplishing that purpose is a long step toward their genuine conversion, for I have heard many thousands come to the place where they do indeed “call upon the name of the Lord” and they are saved.

If you can help your loved one, neighbor or friend – or even a total stranger – to become sufficiently alarmed about their eternal welfare that they call on the name of the Lord, you have come a long way toward bringing that person to Christ in a saving relationship.

Some people are bothered by the simplicity of the gospel. I am grateful that it is so simple that anyone can understand, believe and receive. The promise of this verse is emphatic: “Anyone who calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved.” Let’s believe and share it.

Today’s Action Point: I will not let the utter simplicity of the gospel keep me from sharing the Good News that we need only call upon the name of the Lord to be saved.

This is a true story. Thank you Walter and Sandra

His name was Fleming, and he was a poor Scottish farmer. One day, while trying to make a living for his family, he heard a cry for help coming from a nearby bog. He dropped his tools and ran to the bog. 
There, mired to his waist in black muck, was a terrified boy, screaming and struggling to free himself. Farmer Fleming saved the lad from what could have been a slow and terrifying death.   

The next day, a fancy carriage pulled up to the Scotsman's sparse surroundings. An elegantly dressed nobleman stepped out and introduced himself as the father of the boy Farmer Fleming had saved.   
'I want to repay you,' said the nobleman. 'You saved my son's life.' 

'No, I can't accept payment for what I did,' the Scottish farmer replied waving off the offer. At that moment, the farmer's own son came to the door of the family hovel. 
'Is that your son?' the nobleman asked. 
'Yes,' the farmer replied proudly..   

'I'll make you a deal.... Let me provide him with the level of education my own son will enjoy. If the lad is anything like his father, he'll no doubt grow to be a man we both will be proud of.' And that he did. 
Farmer Fleming's son attended the very best schools and in time, graduated from St. Mary's Hospital Medical School in London, and went on to become known throughout the world as the noted 

Sir Alexander Fleming, the discoverer of Penicillin.   

Years afterward, the same nobleman's son who was saved from the bog was stricken with pneumonia. What saved his life this time? Penicillin.   

The name of the nobleman? Lord Randolph Churchill .. His son's name? 

Sir Winston Churchill.

It seams like I can not loose weight here? I ride the bicycle and never loose any weight? I walk around Calvary ad least 13 to 15 mile a day?

NO, I need to ride more and walk more???? 

So how is every one doing? It has been a little chilly here in Coconut Creek area. The weather station tells me it is 53 outside right now. 

Now think about this, look at New York now. Where would I rather be?

I went to buy gas on Saturday and saw this price. Not sure what is going on, but as these prices keep dropping. Fill  it up and enjoy. 

This was the sun set I saw last night. My God is so good to me. I just look up and there is a beautiful picture of His art work. 

Talk about work, Got to get going now.

As we start 2015, I want to thank each one of you for your educational emails last year. I am totally messed up now and have little chance of recovery.

I can no longer open a bathroom door without using a paper towel, nor let the waitress put lemon slices in my ice water without worrying about the bacteria on the lemon peel.

I have trouble shaking hands with someone who has been driving because the number one pastime while driving alone is picking one's nose.

Eating a little snack sends me on a guilt trip because I can only imagine how many gallons of trans fats I have consumed over the years.

I can't touch any woman's handbag for fear she has placed it on the floor of a public toilet.

I must send my special thanks for the email about rat poo in the glue on envelopes because I now have to use a wet sponge with every envelope that needs sealing.

Also, now I have to scrub the top of every can I open for the same reason.

I can't eat at KFC because their chickens are actually horrible mutant freaks with no eyes, feet or feathers.

I can't use cancer-causing deodorants even though I smell like a water buffalo on a hot day.

Thanks to you I have learned that my prayers only get answered if I forward an email to seventeen of my friends and make a wish within five minutes.

Because of your concern, I no longer drink Coca Cola because it can remove toilet stains.

I no longer buy fuel without taking someone along to watch the car, so a serial killer doesn't crawl in my back seat when I'm filling up.

I no longer use Cling Wrap in the microwave because it causes seven different types of cancer.

And thanks for letting me know I can't boil a cup of water in the microwave anymore because it will blow up in my face, disfiguring me for life.

I no longer go to the movies because I could be pricked with a needle infected with AIDS when I sit down.

I no longer go to shopping centers because someone will drug me with a perfume sample and rob me.

And I no longer answer the phone because someone will ask me to dial a number for which I will get a huge phone bill with calls to Jamaica, Uganda, Singapore and Uzbekistan.

Thanks to you I can't use anyone's toilet but mine because a big black snake could be lurking under the seat and cause me instant death when it bites my rear.

I can't do any gardening because I'm afraid I'll get bitten by the Violin Spider and my hand will fall off.

If you don't send this e-mail to at least 144,000 people in the next 70 minutes, a large dove with diarrhea will land on your head at 5:00 p.m. tomorrow afternoon, and the fleas from 120 camels will infest your back, causing you to grow a hairy hump. I know this will occur because it actually happened to a friend of my next door neighbor's ex mother-in-law's second husband's cousin's best friend's beautician!

This is our first night of the year for the Women's Ministry start up.

Well as I was standing there to see if we were going to need any more chairs. Wow they came and kept coming. It is so funny how our Lord works things out. On Wednesday night, in the gym there. the High School Ministry needed three (3) racks of chairs. So that morning Tuesday morning Brandon and Josh got the chairs there. All went well on Wednesday night. Even Scott and I thought about bring them back to the store room where they belong. But as the crowd was still hanging out in that area. We decided to wait until Thursday to move them out. So Thursday came and there was no one to drive the lift truck. So they stayed there during the day. When I came in Brandon and I talked about moving them. Still no driver for the fork lift. Okay need to wait until Friday now. That is so neat how our Lord lets thing happen. Now if the chairs got moved back to where they belong. I would have been in trouble on last night. We ended up using two (2)  full racks of chairs for the Women. The picture doesn't show a full house, but is was when I came back around 8 pm. 

I just want to say Thank you Lord for Your wisdom and Your way of doing thing. 

Hopefully today we can move them back and all will be well again.

I did buy the whole kit. The four pack. Which was the same price as the store. But I got free shipping when I spent $100.00 or more. So I bought everything on line and saved even more.

This folks is Priscilla. She is getting larger each day. If you look you can see she is almost as long as her cage. Hopefully in the near future we will be getting her a large one. 

This is Lizzy. She is a Berried Dragon. Now this is a pain in the butt top on here.What I am talking about is, every time you need to fill her water dish or even feed her. This large top has to come off.

 I was talking with Josh maybe we can give put Lizzy in Priscilla's cage? Then buy a nice long cage for this area. 

Like a aquarium style. Then put it right in the middle of this area and the kids walking by can see she on both sides. 

This was the sky line yesterday afternoon. It is so neat to just look up and see beauty. 

That is correct Jeremy is not single any more.

These two are now, Mrs Rachel and Mr. Jeremy Bastin. Yesterday afternoon these two tied the knot. It was a beautiful time of seeing a young couple becoming one. Scott, our boss did the wedding ceremony. Which went off with out a hitch. It really was very nice. I am very happy for those two. They are on a cruise as I writ this. Jeremy was telling me where they were going and for how long. Their first stop is my old stomping grounds. Nassau. 

You can see how proud Jeremy is of his wife and just the glow around both of their faces. 

I wish them many years of happiest and seeing them grow closer to the Lord.
