If you guys and girls know me. I love to take pictures and share them. This one was on box next. While living here I can see why someone would have this sign up. If you know anything about Bahamas, is everything you buy here has been jacked up. Reason everything has a duty fee on it. That means all the items that we, back in the states have to pay a tax. Here it is called Duty Fee So all things that are shipped here there is a cost. I will use my truck for a example. I bought my Mazda 1998 in 2003 for $3500.00 dollars. Coming over here, it cost me another $3600.00 dollars. Reason, the shipping was $400.00 and then the duty was $3200.00 dollars. They told me that this truck sells for $7000. That is why the $3200.00. So just by doing that I can see how this sign is getting around here.
Well today was a nice easy day. The group of 5 from OM left to go back to their ship. Then at the same time picked up another 10 kids,they are just coming to rest and get their heads back in order. Tomorrow is a day of fasting for all of them. So please keep them in prayer to be strong. These kids are in a program to grow in their faith and to be better leaders in the future. While they were on the ship, everyday they had to run for 5 miles and that was early in the morning. Plus they had to read differ books and get tested on them. This is like a program that Pastor Chet wants to start here in June. If you remember he was at Pottter Feild doing the same. Building up men and women for the mission feild.
