It was two weeks ago today that our big World Bus broke down. Yes she is not doing to good. Michello and I towed her back to ALC and she has not been feeling good. I did all I could to see the problem was. But I don't know that much about transmissions. So I got a hold of a guy on the island here, Sam. He came out and I noticed while driving in I could see two beer bottles inside of his car. I asked the Lord what to do? I listen to Sam and he told me that there is really only two main things that can go wrong with a transmission. There more but if it just stops and will not move forward or reveise. It is the Oil pump, or the torque converter. I listened and asked more questions and what he was saying made since. I asked him how much he would charge us to help me change it out from the older bus? He said $500.00. I was not really that supprised. I told him I would call him back later on.
Mean while I talked it over with Adam and he said maybe we can get someone form Calvary, Ft Laud. to come over and help us out? I said great. Now I just need to wait and see if it will happen or not.
I went on line to see what a one Torque converter cost? $795.00. So that answer my first question. To take from Peter and give to Paul. So I am sorry to say that our old Solar Bus will be not drivable for sure now. Before I could drive it to where needed a air compressor is needed. But now no more.
Now I need to wait on our guest to come over and give me a helping hand. Mark and I moved it to the pad to make it easier to work on. I dropped the drive train yesterday.
I had a opportunity to help out my cousin.
