Yes I am sorry to say that yesterday we sold Erro. The reason was the price of food for all of our animals has been really hurting us. Just like today I will be going to the feed store and spending around $450.00 worth of food for this next week. We spend around $1100.00 a month on feed alone. There is another reason why we sold him, was because he is sometimes hard to control too. You know he is not one for someone to sit on or even try to ride. We still have his daughter Rue. So the kids will be able to still see a donkey and maybe down the road be able to even ride her. There are a couples of other reasons too. Erro is a male and his daughter is a female, so when he sees her he goes some what crazy trying to get to her. You can understand the rest of the story. So now we should be able to let her run free, some what. This is will good for her. Right now she is by her self in the back pasture and really no one is around her durng the day. I can understand how lonely she could become. This way she will be running around and just seeing other areas. We could not do that before, Erro would see her and go crazy trying to get to her. Erro is going to another island and this guy is trying to start up a small ALC there. Debbie Bird was telling me about how he would love to have something like this there so the kids could see and enjoy what we have here. Debbie told him that maybe down the road we could send some of our staff over to show him what we do and how we do it too. It really sounds like Erro will have his our place and all the grass he wants to eat too. Plus they took some of our sheep and I think rabbits too. I know he want a horse too. Maybe down the road that might happen too.
