Easter Sunday night at ALC Barn

We as a staff had a chance to come together in the Barn and have some food and just a time to reflex on Easter. Why did Jesus die and raise again? Mark and I were talking about that. We then tried to start a game called Apple to Apples. No it is not a computer game. Katy and Ryan tried to ex plan it to us, I am sorry but I am not sure still how to play. Then I heard someone say let us eat. I was saved by the bell. Then we all had some food, chicken, mac and cheese,devil eggs and salad. Then had ice cream and cake that Katy made for us. Commeal and Eldroa did pretty much every thing else. It was nice just to relax and have a some fellowship.
Then we sat around a table and sofas. Mark was telling us about today and all that will prayerfully happen. Yes today is our Fun Day, Easter Monday. We are hoping to see many come out, 900 or so. Hopefully they will spend the day with us at the ALC. We try to do ad least four Fun Days each year.
The reason is to raise funds so we can do our Summer program. We do charge kids for Summer program, but never full price. If we did, we would not have that many kids show up. I have talked before about our cost pre kid. Well during the Summer time we open our place up to children ages 6 to 12 years old. We only charge them $75.00 a week. If you sat down to figure out the cost for that week. Well is sure a lot more than that to run it. The children stay with us from 8:00am until 4:00pm. It is full day of of fun and teaching them things about Nature and all that is around us. Plus our main ting is Jesus Christ teaching. I am not sure what our program is this year, but when I find out I will let you all know.
I look our of my door and see RAIN. That is a good thing for now, but I ask our Lord for it to stop by 11:00am, that is the time we open our gates to the public.
I main job today is to keep supplies and anything else full.That means I do the running around and driving to buy what ever else is needed to keep this things going. I enjoy that part of my job. The reason is I see pretty much every one that comes in and have the time to take pictures too.
