I am not sure why but I am not doing that much with my blog lately. So now you can see what we have been dealing with this last week. Wednesday one of he staff was training another staff how to drive the train. Well they didn't make the turn correct. Ran into the fence and pushed the axle back and broke one of the supports. With Bob welding skills and just his kind heart, he got it back up on Friday morning.
Then Friday afternoon, the axle that we welded about 3 or 4 years ago. Broke in half. Bob and I got the Bob Cat (Gehl)out and lifted it up and dragged it back under the tent. Bob pretty much did every thing. Grind it back down to the bare metal. Pulled and tugged and got the axle back into the pipe we used last time. He welded it up and by Saturday afternoon it was up again.
Now on Saturday, I got a call around 1pm. One of the staff was on her way to help out with a birthday party. She started to hear this really bad noise coming from her front of the van. So I came out and looked. Could not see ant thing wrong. I drove it around the block and heard metal against metal. Think it is a bearing. I followed her back to the centre. She went off with the party. I started to take it apart. It is a front wheel drive. So just taking the hug off I could not get to the bearing. So I asked Bob and take a look. Yes the front driver side has to be taken apart and then take it to a machine shop. There they will have to pull the old bearing off and press a new one on. She really doesn't have the funds to take it to a shop. So Bob and I talked and we both said we will try to do what we can.
Guess what we are doing today????
Folks some days I look on and say why do what I do? That sometimes is not a good thing to do. My heart is getting harder and I know He will not keep me going if I don't let go. The reason I say this is, right after we saw what was needed on the van. I said to Bob let her take it to a shop and pay someone else to fix it.
I have been trying to get away now since last Summer. I went on line Saturday and got a ticket to fly over to Fort Lauderdale, Fl. Flight cost $215.40. I look at my funds and say how am I going to do this? I have $500.00 saved from getting USA money from people while here. You know, trading Bahamian money for USA. Plus $52.28 in my saving back in Florida. In the first part of the month I will receive my support from you that has been giving, for the month of Feb. I need to get away and I know He will provide. I just finished reading Proverbs 30:7-9. Which this has been my prayer for a while now.
Proverbs 30:7-9
O God, I beg two favors from you before I die. First help me never tell a lie. Second, give me just enough to satisfy my needs. For if I grow rich, I am deny you ans say "Who is the Lord? And if I am too poor. I may steal and thus insult God's holy name.
