It is so neat to see how much has happen his last year.

As myself, I look back and say wow. First of all, where did the time go? Then you say the next question, what time? This last year it has been very much a challenge for me. It seams like every day I go to the ALC. What is broken today? Plus it seams every time I want fix something, I need to fix the tool first. You know, like a chain saw. I need to cut down a couple of trees. I get the chain saw out and look and see the chain is loose. So that means I need to take it apart and clean it and then sharpen it too. So okay I need to cut a tree down, now I have about hour into the cleaning and sharpening it. I think you get the idea?
Where am I going with all this? Well if you have seen all that has been going on in my life on my blog. I think you can understand what I am trying to say.
I went to Cat Island almost a month and half ago. There I sat around and really talked with God about what is next in my life? During those times, I really believe I heard Him say. why worry about the small tings? You have been put here at the ALC to do your best and that is all I can ask of you. Then I went to Fort Lauderdale, Fl. plus I saw some of my family while there. That to me is what life is all about, FAMILY. Since I have been back here, I have been e mailing them back and forth. It really has been rewarding. I believe the next time I get back their way, we will have another time to get caught up and just enjoy our selves.
So getting back to why am I here? This next year, I really hope and pray I can say I did my best and not to get warped up with the small things. Just do my best.

My prayer for all of us is to be able to walk away and say it is in YOUR HANDS LORD. Please take a minute or two look back and you and see where and when He did thing in your lives and and THANK HIM. 

Guess on what we did yesterday?

Tim,Mark and myself, we put up the NEW Spiral Stair Case. It really was kind of fun working on this together. It seems at first , wow maybe we should pay someone to do this? But is fell all in place. It took us about 2 1/2 hours to get this up and usable. Now today need to finish putting the hand railing on and the railing around the top. I was very happy to see this all come together and it is safe too. 

That right, we went out again.

On Sunday night I was telling Michell about how you can walk into Atlantis and see FREE movies.She said what? Free. So yesterday we talked a little and she found out what times the movies were. So guess what. There was 9 of us. We went to Marco's Pizza. Then drove over the bridge to Atlantis. Just walked up to the area. Found out we had to wait a little. So they could clean the movie place up. Then at 7pm we all just walked in and sat our butts down and enjoyed a good movie. It was Fast and Frey #6. It really was raided for older folks. You can see we did have some young ones with us. But every one told me that they had a ball. That movie was very thing action. Fast cars and just fun to watch.

Then guess where we ended up at, Star Bucks that right. We finished the evening there and we all went back to our homes. Telling you the true, coming home so late, it is a toll on me. If you know me at all, 9 to 10pm is my bed time. Oh well, you only live once on this earth. 

Had a friend stop by last night

I was getting into my shower and saw this little guy there. I told him or her to close their eyes! I was getting into the shower. It sure is funny, back in the states you see these guys every where. But not around here. I guess the birds get to them and they are gone. They sure are good to have around. They eat mosquitoes. I think? 

Yes I know it was Sunday, yesterday?

Yes I went to church? Okay after church Emily,Michel and me had a chance to get some what caught up at Star Bucks. We sat around for about hour or more. It really was nice to just relax and talk a little. Then after that we meet up with Sylvia and went to saw a movie. (Walter Mitty).It was a kind of movie, not sure how to explain. Just was entertaining. During the movie I heard from both young ladies, when is this movie going to start? You know it was all over the place. Hey it did turn out to be pretty good at the end. You know, it is over kind. 

The we piled in Michell's Jeep. Drove over to Paradise Island. Walk around a little and sat at Star Bucks again. Ad least it was another one. Michell has these tings called gift certificates. She loves using them and enjoys her tea too. It was a nice evening too. The place was pretty busy when we got there. You know tourism. Christmas time, why not come to the Bahamas?

This is the best Chesse Cake I have had in long time.

That right I am enjoying MY cheese cake. Kevin made this for me for Christmas. I have had it in the freezer since then. So yesterday I took it out and BOY was that great. You can see I ate almost 1/3 of it last night. Since he has moved out, it has been lonely around. So when ever he comes over and spends some time, I am very blessed. The neat ting is he is not here now, So this cake is MINE. 

Okay now there is a battle on who should be the winner of Junkanoo?

These kinds of thing happen ever once and while. If One Family. the group is protesting a five point deduction over one of the costumes. There were two people under a costume when there should have only been one. Which is a penalty, but the penalty should have been given only to the costume scores and not the over all score. So if we didn't have the five deducted, we feel we would have enough points for us to be in first place. 

In the beginning of the article shows that the member of the official complaint is not due to meet until January 7th. As the unofficial results stand now, The Valley Boys are the winner with 87,93 points the Shell Saxons are second with 84.45 and One Family are third with 84.29. Okay we will keep you in the loop and let you know WHO REALLY IS THE WINNER. 

I have a friends neice that won the Little Miss Bahamas

The second picture is of her. Miss Chloe Campbell (13) of Abaco,is crowned Ideal Miss/Miss Teen Universe. A couple of weeks ago. The prade I took pictures of? Well She is the one of the new queens here now. My friend Michell is very proud of her and has been telling her friends all about how good she was during the pagemant. I really wish I could have been there during the pageant. But I have been under the weather now for a while now.

But as it is now, I will be spending my time in the Bahamas. I know you are all saying WOW you must have it rough???? 

I don't, I just miss being around my family. I have written many times before, how family should be on the top of every ones list to spend time together. Hopefully after January, I will be able to spend more time with these guys. 

That right The Vally Boys WON

This year I didn't go to down town to watch. I did watch some on ZNS. I believe people are up set about the Valley Boys winning. The prime Ministry was dressed up in costume and even was dancing in the parade, with them. But over all it will work out. On News Years night there is another Junkanoo Rush Out. 

Okay now how many of you out there will be in trouble this year? If you saw how the people here love Christmas. Okay remember the day I was at the mall? There will be many that will be saying this. 

I had some helpers yesterday

While I was working on building beds. Mark and his crew came out to repair the feeding box. It was neat to see how Mark showed Adam how to hold the drill in place and pull the trigger. I had a chance to build three beds. These are the girls that will be moving into the cottage when they get back in January. Today I will be out buying ply wood and other lumber items. On Monday or Tuesday we still need to build one more bunk bed or maybe two. We will see what is needed. It is kind of neat to see, if I take my time building it does come out okay. 

Got the air compressor in place and even straighten the trailer out a little. I am so blessed to be here and doing what i do. Thank you Jesus.
