I had a chance to go to our staff Christmas party last night

Okay I thought he/she was cute. This was the gift I brought to trade with some one else. You know White Elephant gift. 

The guy you see here is Owen. He got a real nice gift. Star Bucks stuff. So someone stoled that one. Then he got something else. they stoled that from him. At the end he got a real small tree hanger and a large one. So he got two gift for the one. But at the end he lost out.

This is what I ended up with. I picked another gift and one of the ladies stoled it from me. You know, as the game goes on, people see what you get and say, I want your gift. So at the end of the night. This is what I ended up with. 

This is Pastor Fred, he was the host. It really was nice of him to open his home up to us and do the cooking and fittings. The gift he got was a pocket knife, now what does that have to do with Christmas tree items. But he was happy. 

Folks this is our crew and I'm sad to say, I still don't know everyone name, but as I sat at a table, I got to know three guys. Country, Glad and forgot. Hey theses guys use to live in the Calvary House Program. So as I sat there, I had a chance to hear about what they are doing in their lives and just hanging out. Now when I see them, I have two out of the three names to call them. 

Okay do you know what I will be doing today? Well you see the tables and chairs. Guess where they came from? That right Calvary, so Joshua and I will be picking them up today. 

You know I have a real neat job here at the church, I get to serve and help others. Some days I loose that focus and think why am I here? 

Have you ever thought about the guy or girl that goes out and pushes the carts around that we leave out in the parking lot? Now just think, they bring them back to the store and then have to go get them again? That right, a endless job, pushing and putting away and then going out and doing it again? 

Now I know they get paid for it, but just look at the job you have and say. 

What do I do all day long? Am I serving others?
