On Monday morning I left my home around 8 am and headed south. The reason is I had a dentist appointment in Fort Lauderdale, Fl. I wrote about how I trust and enjoy going to her. As I was there two weeks ago, She asked for me to come back and do a full exam. So this worked out great. My sister Kathy and her daughter Debbie were going to be in town during this time. I really didn't plan this out, but He did and it worked out great. I saw my dentist and then drove over to Restore Habitat on Broward Blvd.
I walked around there in a couple of minute. The reason is I was looking for special book case for a friend up in Melbourne, Fl. Didn't have it.
I drove over to where the girls are staying at. Then we took a walk down to the ocean. Looking for something to eat. I remember a couple of places down there. We ended up at the Brinty Irish Pub. Hey had some fish and chips and they were good too.
Then just walked across the street and walked on the beach.
This place is called Pompano Beach. I didn't take any pictures of the beach. Not sure why? But as we were walking around I just remember how neat this place is, during the summer time. You would see 10 to 15 children playing in the fountain here. It is in the back ground there. But it is good memories.
I asked them if they wanted to touch the water??? No there are sharks out there!!! Not sure if they were joking or not. They didn't get close to the ocean.
Oh while in the pub I saw this Cigarette Machine. That is correct.
I have not seen one of these for many years now. BUT LOOK $10.00 a pack.
We walked back to their condo and sat outside along the pool. It was beautiful out there. Breeze and even cool weather.
It must be HAPPY HOUR? Not me. Debbie bought a 6 pack of Pineapple Beer. They were at a brewer the night before. So I guess they tried different favors and pineapple was the winner?
I really enjoyed my time with them and just hanging out for that short time. It was worth the trip and would love one of these days to get up their way. Buffalo, NY. Maybe this next summer?
They are in town until the week-end.
I needed to get going. I left at 4 pm and didn't get back home until 7:30 pm. The traffic was busy. Which I knew it would be. But still worth the trip.
As I am getting older, my family is getting much more smaller. So please as I am in Winter Haven today (Wednesday) spend as much time as you can with family. You never know when you say good bye it might be the last time. Until you see them in Heaven again. Prayerfully they know HIM. Jesus Christ.
