On Thursday evening we drove over to, The Cornett's Home.

They were supporting a friend, that teaches art work. His name is Mr Ronald Minnis. He use to teach at West Wood High School. This is where Julian (Mr Cornett) knew him. 

Plus Moe and his wife. Pat (Moe's neighbor) Plus Towanda, Julian's woman.  

This was our art teacher, (Mr Minnis) 

We all started out with a outline picture. 

My little girl, didn't want to paint the out line picture of basketball. So she turned her canvas to the side and started doing her own ting. During the evening, Mr Minnis was telling us what color and brush to use. My little Princess had her own color scheme. So every time I got up to take pictures of the group, she would pick up her art work so I could not see it.

As we wind down the evening. My little girl made us a strawberry/whip cream cake. VERY GOOD. 

At end we took a final picture of all of our works. We did enjoy the time away from all the work we have been doing, plus had some fun too. 

Pretty much everyone stayed to the plan on the lay out. But not my baby, she did a great job too. I told her we will hang this up in the house after we are settled back down. 

It is Friday and all we need to do today is finish cleaning the properties up and wait for the auction tomorrow. 

Our loving Lord is right along of us and all we need to do is see what happens. 

PRAISE HIM ALL DAY LONGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG.

So I just wanted to share this and let all of you know, I am doing well and just enjoying being with her and all that is going on. 

I thank my Lord each and everyday and just trust Him in all. 

I kinda like my new look. 

Our short vacation, day two.

There is a Mexican restaurant down the road of the hotel. Jeanne has eaten here before, maybe 10 years ago? 

\Kinda neat decor. Very colorful. Hey the food was okay. I had tacos with beef. Jeanne had a nice thin steak, sorry don't know the mane of it. Afterwards we took a drive to Gander Mountain RV Store. This place just opened up about three weeks ago. 

Hey this place reminds me of Bass Pro Shop. But they have RV and supplies for sale too. The only thing I didn't like about it was the lighting. It was very dark in different areas. 

But they had a lot of stuff, we don't need at this time. But Jeanne found a pair of sneakers and nice jacket that were on sale. Good stuff. 

Got back and looked out the window and saw a family of pigeons, in the palm tree just outside our window. 

Just looking around our room and saw this post. Very nice. Our stay was very comforting and the hotel was getting a remodel in the lobby and the hallways. 

When they finish this place up it really will be very nice. . 

The price was not bad either, $59.00 plus taxes. After spending another night. We started heading back home. The tents have been pulled off and teh guy is there testing for the air quality. 

The sad part is. there is still a smell in the house. Not spending the night here. Going back to the hotel on Friday night. 

All is well we got another room and this one was on the fifth floor.

Jesus is our LORD and SAVOR. Trusting in HIM. 

 

Jeanne and I are taking a small vacation.

Yes we have termites. For the last year or so, we have seen termites flying around in the bathroom. I guess they are swarming. We did some shopping around and found out these guys have a great reputation and their prices are looking good too. So we set this up about a month or so ago. Tom the guy that comes out an checks to see what we have and what we might need. Came around May 15th or so. I guess these guys are in demand. 

Jeanne and I had some work ahead of ourselves to get ready for them to tent the house. You have to bag up everything that is not sealed by the factory need two of them. So that took us about three evening to make sure all is done correctly. 

On the 17th of June they came out and put a couple of tents on top of the house and carport. 

 

So we needed to leave for two night or so. Mean while we packed a bag and headed to our hotel. Made the reservations. Jeanne did some shopping on that too. Found out the hotels are not serving breakfast at this time, due to the COVID-19. Oh well all we need is a bed and a pool we will be happy. 

We got this place for $59.00 plus taxes, a night. Got a nice room and the pool was clean and just right  temp. Unpacked our bag and went straight down to the pool and just relaxed and took it easy. 

I got up and took a walk over to Burger King. 

This was kinda of neat. I have seen one or maybe even two truck on the back. I don't think I have seen three (3). Oh well nice walk.

Not sure why this sign is on the corner? But got my coffee and came back to the room and we did some more moving boxes and things out of the McNeal properties. 

I guess our vacation is over again? 

A lot of things need to get done before June 27th. AUCTION is happening that day. 

All we can do is ask HIM and we know all is going to be well. 

It is Sunday morning now, Please Praise HIM. 

Jeanne has not had a washer or dryer hook up since she lived here.

First of all we needed to get 240 volts for the dryer. So Ronnie and I talked about putting a junction box where the 240 wire comes in. Then ran it through the ceiling in the kitchen. Then ran it out to my work room, (ceiling) Then down in the carport. You can see the wire hanging there on the right. 

 

Drilled a couple of holes for the water lines to come out. Ran the water off of the lines for the water heater set up. 

Got my neighbor Mike to help me put the dryer on top the washer. Then ran a discharge 1 1/4" PVC along the wall to the corner of the carport. 

Then dug a hole and put rock in it. Then did a load of laundry. It worked out great. Now we have a washer and dryer. We can't go back to my place any more. I sold it and the folks are all ready moving in. We would go to the laundry mat too. That is a pain. You have to spend money plus wait around for it to finish. 

Praise the Lord we have a washer and dryer that work at our house now. 

Now the next project is, getting ready to put all of our food and drinks into plastic bags. The reason is we are getting our house tented for termites. 

That is happening on Wednesday afternoon. Jun 17th. 

I am behind because I can not send my phone pictures to my e mail address any more. Not sure WHY? 

But I know He has a plan and I pray we are seeking it and trusting Him for all that is going on. 

On June 27th we are auctioning the two properties that Jeanne owns too. So Ronnie and I have been trying to clear out the two house and a garage too. 

We have three (3) sheds Jeanne's things are going to. It is a lot going on right now. 

ALL I WANT IS TO PRAISE HIM FOR HIS WISDOM AND LOVE.  

 

Before all hell broke out on this COVID -19

We would walk around this Farmer's market down town Fort Peirce. Well the last time there, Jeanne saw this wood piece (art work) She  loves to fish and fell in love with this piece. Guess what I just hung it up a week ago and it looks great. The fish is a Snook. 

This is the artist, if you are interested, here is his card. His work is beautiful and not bad on the pocketbook. 

We have been very busy, Jeanne and I. Trying to get the properties cleaned out and ready for the auction. Prayerfully today there is a guy coming to look at some of her tings from the bakery she is wants to sell. I am so blessed to watch our Lord do His ting. All I can do is say THANK YOU JESUS. 

Just trying to have some fun.

It really has been over 8 weeks. Every time I turn on the news. Folks I can only say that through all of this, our Lord Jesus is right next to us. just trust HIM in you are dealing with. 

The reason I have not been posting pictures, I try to e mail them to myself to install in the picture files. But they don't come, they stay draft. Not sure, but will figure it out.

Some times you might find something good.

The sad part about about all that is going on is. So many way to get negative media. You know as well as I do, you go on any kind of media and there is such a negative message. 

The sad part is most people see it and just run with it. Myself  included. But very once and while you can see positive things. Which is what we all need to see each and everyday. 

It is all how you look at life. I wish I could say I was always positive, I can not. I get reading things and just want to air my opinion and run with that. 

Please Lord help us look at life as a  gift and cherish IT.

Okay We walked into the Up store and saw these. Does someone know something I DON"T?

Hey folks, Ronnie and I have been working our butts off. The reason is the properties that my girl (Jeanne) owns, are coming up on auction June 27th. Just a note, if you look at the post I did on the auction. The date is wrong, July 1st is not on Saturday. So as we talk with the auctioneer, (Marshall) . He wants the houses emptied out. By God's grace He brought in Ronnie to help us, clean them up. 

It really has been some fun too. Ronnie is a guy that enjoys life and we have the opportunity to have that time to share and just make tings happen.

Prayerfully by next week we will have everything out, Then we will start building a shed, in our back yard. Remember that spot, that all the water has been sitting?

 Well that is the area that Jeanne and I cleared a couple of months ago. That was the start of the shed. But as tings have been happen, her school and all other tings. It will be OKAY. 

Hey I sold me place and closed on it a couple of days ago. Yesterday I got the check and we sure can use it building this shed and all other tings we want to get done. 

We all need to thank our LORD (Jesus Christ) each and everyday, He is the One that right along side of us and He wants us to seek His face and just love others.

The sad part is now I know what Jeanne is saying to me😂😂😂😂😂 just kidding...

She loves me and I understand.  I know us guys have something like this on our minds and some times I say them too...

Moving forward, with a couple of

Yesterday I wrote about the auction. Well here is one of the signs. 

So now we really need to get these houses emptied out. 

This is Ronnie. He has been a friend of Jeanne's for many years. She has moved a few times. One time, she had things in a storage unit and a hurricane came along and destroyed almost everything she had in there. It flooded the whole storage business. But Ronnie and a couple of others came to recused her. They moved her stuff into another storage unit down the road. 
I think on Friday afternoon, we had lunch with Ronnie and told him about all the things we are trying to get done. He meet us at the house and showed him about the shed we need to build, kitchen too, plus. 
So after Jeanne signed the papers with Marshall. We called Ronnie to help us move stuff out of the houses. 
So yesterday I got us a storage unit. Started cleaning out the houses. I think we have will have to get one more unit. One to sell out of and the other just to store the tings she wants to save. 

Now what troubles we have. The air is not working again. 

Ronnie went out into his truck and came back with a cooking thermometer. He stuck into the above the air handler, where the blows up and out. 

Got a hold of Adrian and he came out about 8 pm last night. he noticed the part they put on was leaking. Replaced the o rings. This morning all is well. It works again. 

It rained during the afternoon and boy it came down. So the back yard is flooded again. Put the pump in the back corner of the yard and let is drain the swamp. 

The toilet is backing up again. But all will be okay. 

Ronnie will be here is a little while to help us again today move stuff around. 

Please keep all of what is going on in our lives in PRAYER. It just seems like things are going well and then NOT.

But I know our Lord is here and He will not leave or forsake us.
