Our shower is very hard to turn on and off.

So as I tried to figure this out a month or so. To get the cartage out of the wall, you need a special tool.
While we were working at Julian's home a couple of weeks ago. You know putting up the shelving in his shed. Well I am not sure how we got talking about the showers, but he told us that he has that special tool to pull the cartage out of the wall with very little force.
So I turned the water off and gave it a try. I sprayed it with WD 40. Got a pair of channel locks and gave it a twist and it pulled right out.
I have been looking on line for the replacement.

I took this apart about two months or so. Trying to figure out how to replace the cartage. I took the screw out and took some pictures of the part I thought I needed. I guess I deleted them after I repaired it. But the part number was 1257. Thinking, okay need 1257. I looked on line and went to different plumbing stores and no one ever heard of that part number. I heard of a shop in in Fort Pierce that caries everything. Plumbery. It is located on Orange and 28 street. I stopped in there and talked to the owner. Frank (I think) He showed me the only prats for a Moen at the following. NO #1257. So I told him I would take the part out and see what we need.

There is a sleeve over it and the part is on the inside. He told me it would cost $128.00. I say WHAT???
Okay I need it. Bought it and got back home and replaced it.

It work so much easier. You can twist the handle with a little finger.
You definite need the tool to get the old one out.
They sell them at Home Depot for $14.27. It is called a Danco Cartage Puller for Moen.
Not sure why I don't find the cartage we have. But I am very happy it works and all is well again.
Please send some love to others today. This idea of protesting is out of control here in the states.
Say a prayer or two for all this RAGE. (Satan's games)
Please remember God is right along side of you. Just ask Him.

It really neat to watch our new school being built right here on the same property that the old school is standing.

This was the first part of putting up the walls (Oct. 29th) at our NEW WESTWOOD HIGH SCHOOL. Our Principal, Mr. Alfonso tells us that all of...
