During the Friday night we noticed the air conditioner, stopped running.

I went out in back and noticed the copper pipe was frozen over. 

Came in and shut the power off for the air conditioner. Went back outside and checked out about the condensation line. It was covered with dirt. Last week I pulled the dirt away, for putting the pavers down. Dumped the dirt on top of the line, not knowing? 

I dug  the line out and turned the air back on. Noticed the coils on the handler were frozen over too. Kept the system down and put a hair drier on the coils and let it do it ting.

After about, 3 hours. The coils were dry and ready to run, I think? 

Turned the air back on and just warm air came out of the vents. Shut it down again and called Pastor Craig's  air guy.  He came out and found a leak in the line. So he repaired it and filled with freon. 

Turned the unit back on and warm air still. He thinks we need a new air compressor. 

Asked him to check on prices and get back with us.

Mean while I called the guy that put the unit in in Aug 2019.

Now it is Tuesday. Still no air conditioner. But by God's grace the weather has been cooler and plenty of rain happening.  

So Adrian came out and told us yesterday that he would get a compressor, replacement for us and reinstall it, for the cost of freon. 

So today (Wednesday) we should be back up and running????
