This is Pastor John Egan, he is associate pastor of The Crossing. John has been part of this church for many years, but felt called to go to other one church for a while. But as of last couple years him and his wife Tammy came back. Now Pastor Craig has made him his assist.
The real neat ting is Pastor Craig has been asking him to do a couple of Sunday's services. The first time we didn't get a chance to go see him live, we watched on the inter net. But this last Sunday we went and he did well.
The message was on our MEMORY STONES. That means, what has God done for you before in your life, then would be able to go back and remember His time with you.
During the time when Israel was walking in the desert God brought them out and while crossing the Jordon River. Joshua was told by God to have one leader in each tribe pick up a large stone and stack them up in the river. So when the water came back in the walk way. You can see the stones there and explain to your children about how they crossed on dry land to get to the other side.
Plus in 2 Peter 2:4 talks of the corner stone as Jesus Christ.
Folks I just love reading and listening to folks talk about what they get out of the Bible,
Hope and pray as our time on this earth is winding down, that each and everyone of us are reading and learning more each day of His Word.
I promise if you do that He will speak to you and His PEACE will be on you.
WE ALL NEED PEACE OF MIND AND JOY THAT ONLY COMES FROM HIM.
