We are still walking around the outside.
Her is that train I really like.
This is just history. Back then there was two compartments.
This is the mail room.
This is a neat part I like. These are the scales for model trains.
I remember when I was a kid. I had a Lionel Train set. My dad would always set it up under our Christmas Tree. It had smoke coming out of the stack and I remember take pieces of icicles and dropping them on the tracks. saw sparks flying off the track. Looking back it really was not to smart.
Then when I got married, y first wife. I took a 48 sheet of plywood and put outside carpet on it and nailed H.O. track on it and had a train set up year round, under our bed.
Then I got married again. I wanted a train set again. So I took 4x8 sheet of plywood and put the outside grass on it and even put small building all around it and had a N scale train set.
Just thinking about it, maybe I will build another train set???
OR NOT?
We got back to Don's home and enjoy the rest of the evening. We talked about going to another land mark, The National Museum of Civil War Medicine.
Okay we had a wonderful evening and we are on way to Frederick, Maryland.
There is so much to see and read. There was many things to see about, what they had to deal with during this time.
I did read something's. So I was talking with Don about the age the kids were to sign up for the battle fields. I told him I saw that they were as young as 8 years old. He told e NO WAY. Way.
We walked around the gift store and I bought a refrigerator magnets. I saw these socks. and thought about my cousin, (Greg) He use to sat OH BEANS. So I texted him this picture. He wrote back saying thank you, for the laugh.
We are having some fun. As we sit around, after our running, it is time to get caught up.
I can tell you all, out there, please make a phone call or even stop by your old friends.
Life is going by FAST. Plus our time is getting shorter.
Do remember, Jesus is right along side of you.
