About three weeks ago or so. The Septic tank backed up. We dug up and found the lid. After opening it up. found that it was full of tree roots. I pushed the roots so the water would not back up into the house. Then went out and bought root killer. This way it will eat away the roots that are down in there.

This is the septic tank itself. I ordered a riser and lid for this last week. It's supposed to be shipped to our home next week. I think they told me 10th of Oct.
The orange cord you see here is the power to the lift station.
The clean out is the white cap. I raised that up 8" with all new pvc.
I am not sure what dau this was? But we have been getting a lot of rain and I think that is why the system is all backed up. plus, the pump on the lift station is not working.
Opened it up and found everything is full of water.
Plus I opened up the lift station control box. Found the wires are fried. I tried got a wire and tried to jump it to the lift station pump. NOTHING HAPPEN. Okay now we really do have a problem.
I called Reliable Septic, they came out this same day. I was told might have a larger charge if they don't get out here until after 5pm. I just asked please have them come anyway.
They got here are 3pm and started cleaning out each one of the tanks. All is good on being empty now.
Afterwards I paid them, and all is okay for now. Now I called back the asked if a guy and come out and check out the lift station, the next day.
I set up appointment him to be here around 3pm the next day. No problem.
The next day , I got a call that the gentleman was out there and found out was need a new pump.
I asked why was he there already? He had some time between appointments. Okay. I was on my way there about two hours after we talked. His office called me again and told me that he was finishing up and it will cost $1,600.00 pump and $100.00 for cleaning out roots out of the lift station.
Okay, I told her I was on my way and if he could wait for me? Not problem. I got there and he was gone. I called back and she told me that he finished up and needed to be at another appointment.
I guess, okay????
Here is the new pump and he did clean out the roots too. Plus, he repaired the lift station box too. All is working and we should be in good shape for now.
You can still see roots here. I will buy more Copper Sulphate. But the nice thing is all is working and not any more problems, prayerfully.
I did order the lid and riser. So, when that comes in I will put it on and no more shoveling.
A couple of days ago, I saw this rainbow and I thank my Lorde each and every day I see His work.
