Micheal (Jeanne's niece) invited us to this steak dinner on Saturday evening. It did cost some money, but it was all going back to the 4 H club. Micheal's children have had Cows or pigs in the completion in the 4 H club since they were 5 years old. So, this is a fund raiser for this next season.
It's kind of crazy The State Fair is in February 2024. It's not's far off.
Waiting to get in, Jake, Kaden and Cashin joined us too.
Sorry, I didn't take any pictures.
Jeanne and I have been to another fund raiser in the beginning of this year. I even think I shared on here about it
I am not sure why I didn't take a picture of this plate with a nice ribeye steak and bake potato and green beans. Nice roll too.
Jeanne was telling me that she believes the steak was over pound. They cooked it on a grill and was very tender. It was cooked just right. Some blood and very tasty. Jeanne and I could not finish ours. So, we got another meal this week from this outing.
This is another niece of Jeanne's. Her name is Jessie. She lives with us until she gets on her feet again.
So, she was telling me that she had a good time and really glad she had the chance to come out with us.
During our time being there, Jeanne kept going back and forth checking her bids on the Silent Auction Tables. I think she spent a few bucks on them. But she got the ones she wanted.
At the end of the evening. It really was a nice time. Plus, they had many desserts too.
Folks I really hope if you have family that is involved with different organizations, please support them. I know funds are low and how can we? But just show up and the Lord will provide.
I look back at my family and all I have is some cousins and nephews and nieces. But I try to keep involved with my cousins.
At the end of the day, family really is all we have. I know Our Lord Jesus is here with us and willing to help. But it's nice to have a family member to lean on too.
