This is what was in the paper on Thursday.

I try on Thursday to pick up a paper. It is so funny to see all that goes on around here.

 First pictures shows a area about VEX. How and why people are VEX about this or that.

Then you see how many Jeeps are for sale on this island. 

The last one is how they took a large ray out of Atlantis and put her back in the ocean.

Hey how many of you have had blesses like this?

I know some people would say, get a life. But really, I look back in my life and I don't ever remember two eggs in one. I could be wrong. But it is neat to see how He blesses me.

I have a friend that lives here, he was asking me to check out prices on DeWalt tools. So here is just one place that sells them. This is Kelly's too. You will see in the next set of pictures what I have been looking for there. I just love taking pictures and sharing all that happens around here.

 I really thought it would be work out to be about the same price, after shipping and duty. But I might be way off on this one? 

I found a GREAT DEAL

That right I can get some Easter Cookies for only $.50. Okay now this is Sept, and these were selling these around Easter, April. Plus you know that they had to make them by Dec last year. To be able to sell for Easter. Maybe not that good of a deal? 

Okay I broke my coffee glass pot

So now what do I do? I went to Kelly's and found this out. Okay JUST the glass carape, cost $27.25. Now looking at a NEW Brand NEW all together coffee system IS HOW MUCH? $31.99. So if I buy just the carape for $27.25, I get a coffee pot only. But if I pay for the whole NEW is only $31.99 WHAT SHOULD I DO? 

I bought a new coffee kit. I think that is the way to go? Plus it hold more coffee too. My old one was only 10 cups, this one is 12 cups. I think I did good.

I saw the guys were working yesterday and stopped by to see what has happen. It is moving forward. After all this work, maybe I will move in here? No I am very happy the place I am at now.

That's right NEW SIGNS,

Yes the old is gone and the new is here to stay. About four or five years ago, the board and Mark came up with a new logo for us. So as all this that is going on for this next week, celebration. Mark wanted us to replace the old signs with something that looks currant. So yesterday, Eric Denaj and myself took on the job of building them and hanging them up. At first I was not really wanting to put these up. The reason I was thinking that our old signs are done so good. These are only temp. We will be looking for someone to build us new ones, down the road sometime. As it is for now, they really came out a lot better that I thought they would. Plus you can see our Camp sign very clearly from the Centre entrance. 

This next week we need to be ready.

What is every one working on? These hard workers are making up the props for our Fun Day next Saturday. Kevin has done most of the art work and I am very proud of him. He really does do some nice work. Then the girls in the office there,their main job is getting all the costumes ready for the train skit. So it is winding down and we only have Monday to Wednesday to get every thing ready. We all know it will come together, but it would be nice to have it all done too. By His grace and He help in all we do, it is finished. 

We are ready now for our little friends to come back

After a couple of months we can say now. The Barn is done. That is the large barn doors on the south side, all the cages have new doors, the doors going out of the cages to the outside. Plus every thing is wire meshed in. It was a big job and all painted too. But with help we can walk away and say DONE. Just like Sean was telling me a couple of days ago, it looks like a new place. It really does. 

Today only two pictures

Yesterday I went over to Billy's home and had a nice dinner. Then as I was leaving he gave me a new toy. That right I have a MP3 player. So this morning I am trying to figure out how this works. That is why I don't have any other pictures. Tomorrow I should have some. The funny thing is this is all they sent for instructions. 

Just to show we are all working on the FUN DAY

By looking at the pictures you can see that we are moving forward on getting ready for next Saturday's Fun Day 21st. In the first picture is Maren, Denaj and Sam. Working on games for that day. Next one is Mark, Pastor Cransten and Eric. Just getting caught up on all they have to do during the 20th.  Number 3 is Felicia and Jen. Just trying to keep the office running as the rest are getting it done. The last one is Kevin and Teka. These two have the job to get the skit and props ready for the train ride.  As I look on, I see we all have much to do. Myself I just trying to finish up my list of items that are needed before the big 20th. 

So Tim, Denaj and myself finished up the Barn doors, cage doors and even put up a tarp for the goats in back. I will share thought picture tomorrow.  

Another Monday starting out.

I am so blessed to say this morning, a young man stopped by and ask if he could help out this week? That right, his name is Denaj. He has a couple of weeks before he goes and joins the Defence Force, here in the Bahamas. He has taken all his tests and is ready to get going. But the training doesn't happen for a couple of weeks. So he thought why not come over here and help out. The reason he knows about this place is. Two years ago, he helped us out with Summer Camp. So he has seen what we do and why we do it. So during this next week+ he will be helping us. Yesterday he got up on the roof and painted around the top. It really came out looking good. He did have to give it two coats. 

Today Tim will be coming in so maybe those two can work together? 

This is Pastor Lee and Sister Nancy party.

I have been part of Calvary Bible now more than 7 years+. During this time here, Pastor Lee has been my Senor Pastor. He has been that dad that shows you God Word with love. I have taken many classes that he has taught. Most times walking away asking for more. Pastor Lee can teach four levels. The first one is for new believes, the next Christian that was asking questions. The next is for the ones that use more than their Bible to learn. Then the last one is the ones that want to become Pastors. The sad part that is the one I have tried and walked away with more questions. The is my fault, I needed to go deeper myself into studies. 

Over all Pastor Lee has been through many trails and even some heath items. But by God's Grace he will be teaching more to the people that want more. I really hope and pray that his time now is for his family and friends. You know not looking at a schedule and saying I have to be here or there at this time! No this is his time. I remember one day while in his class, I saw his schedule. I said to myself, I could never be able to keep up with that one. That is Pastor Lee heart to help and teach where ever he was needed. We have been blessed to call him our Pastor and look forward in seeing what He has for Pastor Lee next.

This is a bitter sweet time.

Pastor Lee and Nancy are not leaving to go any where. But he will not be our SENOR PASTOR. That is the sad part. But he still will be part of Calvary some what. I really hope and pray that he time now for his family and friends. I think I know Pastor Lee, he will still be part of all that goes on here plus the country.  too. It really was a beautiful time to have family and friends come and wish him and Nancy the best. He will always be my Senor Pastor. Thank you Pastor Lee and Sister Nancy for being those parents we all need in our lives.
