HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE.

My baby and I are to bring some pies. Plus Shrimp Afredo. So yesterday was going well , trying to get things done around the house here. then yesterday afternoon 3pm., or so. Jeanne calls me, (on my way to Home Depot) HEY TODAY IS WEDNESDAY. We need to get going on making pies and alfredo. 

Okay I got back home and started getting everything together. 

The pumpkin pies were the first to get going. 

Then the pecan.

Hey we are going over to her nephews home today. 

Should be a lot of fun and food

Looking great. I would love a taste them right now. BUT NO. That is for Thanksgiving honey. 

Well we are up now and we need to get going on cleaning the shrimp.

A couple of days in the works.

Jeanne and I have been looking forward in putting up lights around our new home. I started on Monday cleaning the dip edge with rubbing alcohol. To put up the 3M clips. 

Then after the clips were up. I put up the lights. 

It did take me all day long to get everything done. 

See the Nutcracker here, well Jeanne has wanted him since we saw him at Sam's Club two years ago. Thinking this would look great next to the front door. This is one of her Christmas Gifts. 

The reindeer, I had, these at my house back in Spanish Lakes.  Roy and Pat gave them to me then. 

We are very happy how good everything came out. 

Now yesterday, after we came back of Melbourne, Florida, I cleaned more of the dip edge off. Put up some more 3M clips.(60 pieces more)  

Today I will be putting up another string of lights above the ones you see here. Prayerfully it will look even nicer.

Well yesterday Jeanne took her Knowledge Test, in Melbourne. This is for her teacher certification. She passed two of the four tests. Which is great news. That is half of the battle. 

Now in January, she can finish and be done with it. The math tests are hard ones. I looked at her practice test. I could tell you the answer on any of it. 

BUT BY GOD"S GRACE ALL WILL BE OKAY. 

Folks I really hope and pray your all have a great Thanksgiving Day. 

I know we will be going over to Jeanne's nephew's home for dinner. 

Please make sure you can reflex on all God has done this year for you and pray for a better 2021. 

 

Never had a Acai Bowl before?

On Saturday, we went down town, Fort Pierce. Walked around and check different places out. As we stopped at a jewelers shop. There were two ladies, walking by with something in their hands. Jeanne asked what are those bowls full of? 

One of the ladies told her, fruit and Acai (special fruit). Looked really good, plus we didn't have breakfast yet. Where is this shop?  Around the corner. 

Okay this is a Acai Bowl. It has Acai fruit. (purple). It really doesn't have any favor to it. It is just really good for you and brings the taste of the other fruit out. 

We bought one and shared it. The cost is on the high side. this would cost us $9.95. But as we are a new customer. We could write a review and get 50% off the first one. ($5.00) Which Jeanne did. She has had this kind of fruit bowl before. So she knew how good it would  taste. So her review was very much, Great fruit bowl and very good for you too.

We shared and it did taste pretty good. 

She asked me yesterday to get her some of this fruit. I went to Walmart and they had it in the freezer department. 

There are 6 servicing's pre bag. Cost was $8.99 + 

I guess if this will help us, loose weight and get us more health. It is worth the money?

I know we did, Jeanne has been trying to learn and understand this General Knowledge Test, she will be taking tomorrow morning. .

I ask if you think of her tonight and tomorrow, PLEASE SAY A PRAYER OR TWO. 

She really want to pass it and move on. She has been studying for over a month to get ready for it. 

This is not just any test. It takes 4 hours to take. 

So please keep her in your prayers.  

 

Helped a friend out moving on Friday morning.

Roy and I had a chance to move this couple from Spanish Lakes to Country Side. 

I was very surprised to see this in a U Haul Rental Truck. 

Hey I have been renting truck from them for many years. I always figured that their truck would be WATER PROOF. 

This way if there is any water damage, they can take you back and show you this sign. 

Okay now we loaded up these things and drove up to Vero Beach. 

Now unload and reload the things Mary Ann and Larry don't want. Hey they just bought this (new) old mobile house. Why move north? 

The reason is pretty simple. Larry is having a lot of health issues. So while living in Fort Pierce, when he rode in Fort Pierce Ambulance, they always took him to Lawn Wood Hospital. Well I guess he doesn't like that hospital at all. 

That is the only reason they moved north to Vero Beach. Plus the stores are very close to where they live now, too. 

Over all we loaded up the truck again with washer/ dryer and all kinds of furniture. 

Now a week before Jeanne and I went over to their new home and show her all the stuff they don't want. We talked about bring everything back to 2709, our older house. To store it. Until she gets a chance to look at it closer. 

Folks Roy and I made some money on the deal and they are happy now and all is well.

Larry and Mary Ann and the the couple that got married last month and I cut the E off of the plaque they got for a wedding present, his daughter gave to them. 

Well it has been 19 day since the election/ 

OUR PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP IS STILL IN THE RACE. 

WE ALL NEED TO KEEP IT IN PRAYER, UNTIL IT IS ALL WOKRED OUT.

When we first moved in, we knew there was some leaks in the screen room.

If you go back about two weeks ago, you can see I sealed in the roof with tar and mesh, then tar again. It seams to be holding. I just wanted to make sure and put another coating over that. 

Which I did and prayerfully this is all leak proof for a while.

There has been two 5 gallon pails under this gutter since, not sure? So every time, it rains.  I walk under the gutters and rain drops fall on my little head. 

I went out to Home Depot to buy the roof sealer, I saw the down spouts for the gutters, across the aisle. So why not repair them too? 

Okay the reason for the pail on the end? Jeanne wants us to save rain water for the plaints inside the house.  NO PROBLEM. 

Okay folks, I am not sure what is going on in Washington? 

All I know is Our President Donald Trump,  NEEDS OUR PRAYERS.  

PLEASE KEEP OUR COUNTRY IN PRYAER TOO.

Okay folks we need to keep this in PRAYER and ask OUR LORD FOR HIS HELP. 

I have this couple, in the park, where I use to live.

Larry and Mary Ann got married. Hey these two have been friends, on and off. For over 14 years.

So 2 weeks ago they made it right. Got married. 

Now Larry's daughter gave them this nice plaque. 

But there is one problem.  

Mary Ann doesn't spell her name with a E. So Larry asked me to cut it off. Which I did, very carefully. Thinking I don't want to crack it. So I scored it with a straight line tile cutter. Then broke it off. Afterwards I used my small grinder and cleaned up the edges

I would have liked to cut the other side off too. To make is look even. But didn't want to take a chance of cracking it. So I gave this to them and they told me that they really like it. 

Hey folks I really tried to help folk out on different things. I am learning to stop before I do something I should it. 

I really am looking forward in seeing the end of this election. 

So please keep it in prayer and let us see what happens.

Not sure if you know this?

On these Kia Sorento 2011. The door handles break pretty easily. Last year there was a recall on this model. Had the passenger and rear door handles replaced, by them (Kia Dealership). But we went back and asked about repairing the handle on the driver side? 

Sorry not on recall any more??? WHAT?? 

Okay this driver side does not open when you pull the handle. So I went on You Tube and found out how to take the handles off. Okay I did it and the handle itself is not broken. That would have cost about $37.00 for both sides. I really was hoping that was the problem. 

So mean while I taped a piece of string to the pull handle on the inside. Hey is works. You pull the string and push this pipe out the door to hold it open. 

It is a pain. But I talked with Damon at Cason, (auto repairs) He told me the inside parts would run about $200.00 bucks??? 

WOW. Okay 

To get the door panel off was not to hard. 

But when I got inside the panel. MAYBE not for me to do??? The reason is I know the window is hooked to (black) motor in the middle of the door. That could be a problem? 

So I guess I will have Damon do the job after Thanksgiving? The reason is, he is ready to go on vacation and he told me that would be the best  time for him. . 

Okay I guess we will use the rope and pipe to open the driver's door? 

Hey FOLK, Please keep our President Trump in prayer. There is a battle going on with the votes and we really don't want let his opponent be our next president.

We have been shopping for a new router.

As I been looking on line for a router. The reason is, we have noticed the TV is buffing. So we were told when we first got the inter net, we  need a router. Our modem is not up to date. So the prices like start out at (good ones) $89.00 and up. 

So thinking on clearance, from $149.00 to $127.00 ,why not spend a little more and get a real good one?  

The real neat ting was, we got a gift from above. This router onl ycoat us, $37.25. 

Nothing wrong with getting a nice gift. I was thinking is this wrong? I guess not? 

Okay last night we hooked it up an it works great. 

Folks we need to be thankful each and everyday we have breath.

Okay so what is going on with the election? 

Still need to keep that is prayer too. 

I am praying that President Donald Trump remains our man.

Last night (Wednesday) Jeanne and I were invited to have dinner.

You know we had to bring something? We made, did you see I said WE MADE, mushrooms and all kind's of stuffing, (inside of them) 

We left home and got there even a little earlier than the Cornets? (JUST) 

You walk in and see Christmas lights everywhere. Thinking wow my baby will love this. 

We have a Christmas tree up all year round. Even in our new home. 

This is a BIG Santa, made out of real wood. HEAVY. 

You walk in and see WOW. 

They even have a train, going around the villages. 

Now this is only one of the rooms. The detail was beyond my thoughts. Very well done. We had to look for different characters from, MISFITS TOYS, CHRISTMAS CAROL, FROOZEN. RUDOFF. There was another one but don't remember now. 

But every time I walked into that room I look for more characters and found them. Oh NORTH POLE, another one. 

These are the folks we had dinner with. Not sure on the left (Hostess) sorry and MR. Cornet, Ken the (HOST) and Mrs. Cornet and my baby Jeanne. 

We really enjoy ourselves there. Had a great burger and a couple of sides. The mushrooms went over very well, too. Desserts (bought at Publix's) Cheese cake and Red Velvet cake. Still good tasting. 

Hey I know Jeanne and I really had some fun with these folks. Maybe next week we will go out together at The Draft House for dinner, (Wednesday night) hamburgers $5.50 meal. 

Just hanging out was neat to hear their stories about how they meet, plus other stories. Just some real nice folks. 

Hey I hope and pray you have not heard YET WHO IS PRESIDENT OF THE USA. 

PRAYERFULY IT WILL BE DONALD TRUMP.

Jeanne and I needed to go to Sam's Club.

While there we stopped by the TV Department and saw the TV we have been looking at it on sale?? $50.00 buck off the price. So we bought it and now we are set for a while on TV's 

Plus we saw the price of gas was way down too. So we filled up the Kia. 

Folks we know the road ahead of us is not looking to good as I turn on the news. But I do know this, OUR LORD IS RIGHT HERE ALONG SIDE OF US AND AS THIS GOES DOWN, HE HAS A SUCH BETTER PLAN.

PLEASE DON'T GIVE UP, HE LOVES US AND ALL WE CAN DO IS TRUST HIM, MORE THAN EVER.

Jeanne and I went to Sam's Club last night. She needed  some  things for school. You know like pop and muffins and what ever else we bought. 

Walking by this end cap and notice the sign saying CLEARENCE. 

WOW. Maybe we need something here? 

Now ,do you remember about two (2) months ago??? No One had any of these items? 

I guess everyone is all stocked up? 

The funny thing is the sign below. 

Okay now if I remember these are on CLEARENCE??? 

Why would they limit you to ONE??? 

Okay, back to the election, on hold?

Lord please let us all seek YOU. 

I am looking on seeing how people are all tense and ready to bit.

All I ask Lord is, let Your peace and joy fill our nation and Your LOVE OVER FLOW.

But the nice thing is, WE KNOW WHO IS IN CONTROL.
