THE BRITHDAY PARTY IS HERE, Kadan (18 year old) and Kashlyn (16 years old)

Christa (mom) rented out the Elks Club in Port Saint Lucie. This all happen on March 23rd 2024

This is called the desert table.

My little girl made all of the cup cakes. cake and other items.

We sat at Jake's Table #1. Now if you didn't know this. Jake (Jeanne's son) Christa and him lived together for 10 years plus. So, Jake was pretty much the Kadan and Kashlyn's dad.

This is the party room of the Elks Club. Coming into the front door.

Christa set a large T.V. next to the desert table. There she put in old pictures of the children and Jake and her. So, I saw this picture and had to take a picture of it. You can see how far back Jake and Christa have been together.

These are a couple of Kashlyn friends.

This is Kadan and Kashlyn.

Christa and the children, plus Jeanne made these pretzels with dark chocolate and other chocolates covers. .

This is the son and mom dance. Kadan and Christa.

Christa and Kashlyn.

Christa and my baby, cutting the cake.

Boy, this was a hit.
Folks, I am not sure how many people came. But I know everyone I talked too told me they all were having a great time. The photo booth went over too. I was watching that area; I saw old folks and young children taking photos.
Well, today is Thursday and day before GOOD FRIDAY.
I keep remembering how The Lord saved me and protected me.
My prayer for this weekend is that anyone that read my blogs lately read HIS WORD.
Please remember, Jesus Christ dead for our sins.
THE MOST INPORTANT DAY IS SUNDAY.
HE HAS RISEN ON EASTER SUNDAY.

My baby is making cakes and cupcakes, plus.

We got to the school and started by mixing the cake mixes.

The cakes and cupcakes are baked and ready for the freezer.

I worked on the Cowboy Beans.

Jeanne had to cut up the chocolate. Make it's easier to mix up and keep to smooth.

Okay, Friday is winding down and we need to get everything in the freezer.

The Cowboy Beans are put into the aluminum pans. They are set on quart sheets pans. This way they are easier to move, plus not spill out.
These were put into the refrigerator.

This now is Saturday morning. Ready to get everything ready for the party.

Thew grandchildren (Kadan/Kaslyn) and their mom (Christa) help make the chocolate shells and all kinds of things. Plus coated the pretzels too. My baby put the finishing touches. It's like fairy dust.

My baby piped the cupcakes and put the shells on too. What is piping? It is putting the frosting in a bag and having a special tip that does the spirals.
If you didn't know this or not. Jeanne my wife uses to teach baking at two different collages. Plus, her and her hubbly (Bubba) had a bakery too. So, my little girl has been down the road many times.

She made this large shell on Thursday with the grand kids. This is the main piece for the top of the cake. It might be a couple of days before you will see the finished. Plus, pictures from the BIG PARTY.
Folks I know my baby and I are so happy everything came out and looked great too. But we are so happy that today is SUNDAY.
So, today is our day of rest. I am trying to get a couple of things done today, the blog was my main point to get done. So, her you go.
This morning, we didn't get up and dressed to go to church. We watched it online. YouTube.
The church we go to and watch online is The Crossing Community Church. Our Pastor is Craig Bridges. Jeanne has known him since 1990. I have known him since 1997. So, Pastor Criag is our teacher and friend too.
His Title is HE SAID WHAT? As today is Palm Sunday. Pastor talked about Luke 23:32 to 43.
This is where the two criminals are hung up on the crosses where Jesus is hung with them. One of the criminals hanging beside Jesus scoffed. "So, you're the Messiah, are you? Prove it by saving yourself-and us, too, while you're at it" But the other criminal protested, 'Don't you fear GOD even when you are drying?  We deserve to die for our evil deeds, but this man hasn't done anything wrong" Then he said, "Jesus, remember me when you come into your Kingdom."
"And Jesus replied, I assure you today you will be with me in paradise."
Well, Criag was talking about how people say things like, YOU DESIRED IT.
What goes around will come around.
Folks if we think things like that, one of these days we will be near our death bed. Thinking, what have I done? Have I done more good than bad?
Folks, we all need to thank our Lord Jesus Christ.
As we are Christians, God doesn't see our sins, mistakes whatever.
We are washed in Jesus's blood. God sees Jesus.
PLEASE REMEMBER THAT IT'S NOT WHAT WE DESIRE.
Ephesians 2:8 to 10
God saved you by his special favor when you believe. And you can't take credit for this, it is a
GIFT FROM GOD. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so that we can do good things he planned for us long ago.

Hey, everyone I would love to hear from you. How God's is using YOU.
I love you all. Thank you for listening.

I am not sure about you, BUT I have been hearing that the world is not doing too well.

Yes, we all are hearing about how bad things are going. I believe that is Satan, pushing his weight around.  We all know this, and we still are afraid of what is coming.
The Bible tells us.
JOHN 16:16 to 24- In just a little while I will be gone, and you won't see me anymore. Then, just a little while after that, you will see me again. (17) The disciples asked each other, What does he mean when he says, you won't see me, and then you will see me? And what does he mean when he says, I going to the Father? (18) And what does he mean by "a little while"? We don't' understand"(19) Jesus realized they wanted to ask him, so he said, "Are you asking yourselves what I meant? I said in just a little while I will be gone, and you won't see me anymore. Then, just a little while after that, you will see me again. (20) Truly, you will weep and mourn over what is going to happen to me, but the world will rejoice. You will grieve, but your grief will suddenly turn to wonderful JOY when you see me again. (21) It will be like a woman experiencing the pains of labor. When her child is born, her anguish gives place to because she brought a new person into the world. (22) You have sorrow now, but I will see you again: then you will rejoice, and no can rob you of that JOY. (23) At that time, you won't need to ask me for anything. The truth is, you can go directly to the father and ask him, and he will grant your request because you use my name. (24) You haven't done this before. Ask, using my name, and you will receive, and you will have abundant JOY.
John 16:33 I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth, you will have TRAILS and SORROWS. BUT take heart, because I have OVERCOME THE WORLD.
Folks I know this is a lot to take in, but it's HIS WORD. PLEASE BELEIVE IN HIM AND ASK HIM IN.

Last couple of weeks grilling at the school.

I barrowed Pastor Craig's trailer to bring the two grills and what goes with grilling.

It was a full load.

We got everything ready and started the fire. This is Tuesday afternoon. The party starts at 5:30pm until 7pm.

Okay this is a setup for parents and students of 8th grade, looking for next year's high school to go to. It's called Attractor Programs. This way the parents can ask questions about what Westwood has to offer the 9th graders next year. So, our principal thought let the culinary department could grill hot dogs, hamburger and chicken. This way our students can share their stories with parents and students on what they are learning here. Plus, some of the student never grill before.
It went well. we sold about 70 hot dogs. 45 cheeseburgers and 2 chicken sandwiches. Not sure why the chicken didn't sell? Oh well, if we ever do this again. no chicken is needed.

Okay, now this is setup for Carnival. This is for the students and teachers, during lunch time. So, there are three-time slops. We were making Chicken Egg Rolls. Plus selling Little Caesars Pizza. We bought 15 cheese, 5 pepperoni and sausage.
I am not sure at this time what we sold. But it was a good day.

At the end, the wind kicked up and caused a fire with the table clothes. But no problem, got it under control.
Folks, Jeanne and her crew do all this to raise money for her program. The state or city doesn't give her any money for her program. Like the food she uses to cook with the students.
So, every penny she makes here and there, goes into school account. This way we can make different things. Sometimes her students have never eaten before. Plus, the students learn how to cook different things too. Overall, she loves her job and watches the student do what they have to make it happen. She just has to set them up and over see what is going on. I pretty much at functions like these, I am the money man. I correct the money and give out tickets. then at the end I count the tickets, then match the money to them. It is fun for me too, to watch and see how they really do pull together and make it happen.

I saw this on the back of a truck and thought, Wow, am I still the Snowbird or Flogrown???
I think I am, I have been living down here since 1984.
I started in Winter Haven/ Davenport. That is where my cousin Greg and his wife lived. Then I moved to Lakelake. Bought a mobile home up there. I worked for Color Crown. It was a franchise. I just worked for them. I didn't the money to buy into it. But I did that for 2 maybe 3 years?
Moved south, to Sandalfoot Cove. That is in Boca Raton. Worked for Superior Shades.
Then Home Depot. On Oct 26th, 1996, Jesus found me and I invited Him into my heart. Worked at Ritz Safety. Then started working at Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale.
I was there from 1999 to 2005. Became a missionary (Adventure Learning Centre) Bahamas. I was there for 9 years. Came back to Calvary and worked another couple of years. Retire 2016. Moved up to Fort Pierce and got married and living a great life.
Everything comes back to Jesus Christ. He is the One that is my SAVOR.
Praise Him and Thank Him each day for all I have and not.
Please if you have not given your life to Him, No hard to do.
JUST CALL ON HIS NAME (JESUS) AND ASK HIM INTO YOUR LIFE AND YOU WILL BELONG TO HIM.
Really that is all you need to do.

On Saturday we flew back home. Sept. 5thn 2026

Okay I got up early and took a drive. I went to Dunkin Donuts for 6 donuts and a couple of coffees. Oh, I got a couple of items for Billy. B...
