This is one of our campus, called Midtown. It is in Wilton Manors. Which is a ho[ and skip form Fort Lauderdale, Fl.
Well the reason we are here is? Not sure when but Calvary Chapel has been doing our services in this building, it is called Streaming. Which only means these people get to get the same service as we do at our main campus 15 minutes later.
This is once the main church many years ago. If you look below you can see they have a place to baptize people right in the stage area.
This is the Youth Room. Very well done. It reminds me of 2040 at Calvary many years ago. That was our youth room.
This is the Kitchen.
This would be Joshua hands changing out the pins in the new locks we are installing.
This one door was our most needed work on. We had to re cut the hole and then chisel out the striker plate. It took us almost a hour to get this one done. But we got it and it even works. It really is fun to learn new things. I know Joshua has this vase wisdom on locks and things like this. I really am trying to learn, but it really is more than knowing how to install. You need to make up keys, that work afterwards. Then re pin the tumblers. There are so many ways of keying a lock. It is funny how I use to watch a friend of mine back in Nassau. Melanie at Albury's Locks. It seemed like she had it done in five minutes and charge me $25.00. I thought wow. That is a lot of money to do 5 minutes of work. Now knowing how hard it is. I respect her work.
To install and make sure all is working on 18 locks ? It was a full day. But I believe I have more of a idea on what this all is needed. Teaching old man new tricks it is a challenge.
After a wonderful day doing locks. I had a chance to spend some time with a old friend. We went to the movies. You know the dollar one? That right it only cost a $1.00 to see great movies like this. As you watch it, it really was hitting home. I really enjoy a nice romance movie.
Great ending too.
