When reading about Collaboration, I think of the verse in 1 Corinthians 12:12 The human body has many parts, but the main parts make up only one body. So it is with the body of Christ.
It is talking about working together and making it happen.
I think back during our time setting up the Easter Service things. You know chairs everywhere. Plus tables needed. Then look at our Praise and worship team. They had to practice every Thursday night. Then our Welcoming/Love Team, they are the ones that greet you at the doorways. Then look at grounds, this place looked great. Each person that walked on this property saw beautiful flowers and trimmed grass. Our Parking Team. Everyone had a parking space.
Our Leaders put together a plan and each and everyone of us had jobs to do to get it all worked out. Now on Easter Sunday we made it happen.
As the day wind down, we were tied but we knew we did our best.
By His Grace and our willingness to come along side each other. That is Collaboration.
