The reason I say that is, I am retired an all the days are running into each other.
Well I had a dentist appointment today. I got to All Smiles Dentistry. The folks there are overly friend. I stopped there a couple of weeks ago to see if they would take my health insurance? They told me sorry, I only have health insurance thru Humana.
So I called my girl in Tampa, asking her if I have dental insurance? She called back and sent me two other programs on dental insurance. HMO and PPO. Both cost extra, HOM $12.00 a month. PPO is $36.00 a month.
Thinking let see what happens today.
I got my exam and the dentist told me I only need a cleaning and one crown. I got the cleaning and the exam for $89.00 plus a fluoride treatment, $43.00 so my time there was only $132.
But the crown is $1599.00. Now if I take their insurance, it will cost me $199. a year. I get two free cleaning and exams. Plus 20% off of any dental work. So the crown would cost me $1452.60 with the insurance.
I will try next week to go back down south to the dentist I had during working at Calvary. Maybe they will give me a break?
I cleaned her flower bed out almost 8 months ago. It sure looked like it too. But I had some spare time and why not make a buck or two?
It took me about a hour or so. But at the end it looks great and the owner is very happy too.
