This is Dan's home. He called me a couple of days ago. Telling me Terry (the guy I took to the airport) and him tried to replace a shower head. Meanwhile they got the head off, but putting it back on, they broke the 90 on top, where the shower head screws into.
Had to take one piece of sheet rock off. It was very fragile. By God's grace it didn't fall apart. I took it off and laid it on the floor and did the repair.
There is one more task Dan would like for me to look at. The bathroom light doesn't always come on. It is over 30 years old. So I will replace that too. Meanwhile, I got another call from a customer Bridget a couple of days before. She was staying the same thing about both of her bathroom lights. So I went to Home depot and bought three of them plus bulbs and fittings for Dan's shower.
I made it a little tighter than I needed to. But it will be okay.
I replaced the sheet rock and put the molding back on. Like I said it was by God's grace it didn't fall apart.
I replaced his bathroom light, that was the other bathroom.
He is all repaired now.
I left there and drove over to Bridget's home and replaced both of her bathroom lights and took two screen windows out and took them to the repair guy (Earl at Vero Mobile Home Supply) . I will get them back on Thursday. Hey I took screen to him a couple of weeks ago and he only charged me $20.00 to replace the mesh. So for me that sounds good enough for me.
I have replaced the mesh in many windows, back in the Bahamas. It is worth it to me to have Earl do it for me.
At the end of the day, I was very blessed to make a couple of bucks and enjoy the rest of the evening.
