Okay starting a new week. Time is just flying by.

On Monday night I joined a few folks to play pickle ball. It really turning out a nice night. I think I played four games. But the last one was the killer. I know most of you out there don't know any thing about pickle ball. But as the evening kept moving forward. I was very tried and sweating. All I know I had a ball and felt like I had a great work out. 

On Tuesday morning Roy and I are helping a couple of sisters out and move their mom to asst living up in Ormand Beach. 

It really was a easy move. This is all there was. The drive was away's up. Over 2 hours up and back. 

The place was very nice and I believe their mom will be very happy after a little while. 

On Wednesday morning. Roy and I had a day of just getting things finished up. So we drove here and there. Mean while I needed to gas. So as always i checked my oil. Down a half a quart. Now thinking why drive all the way back to Walmart? 

By looking at the price I should have. WHY is this so expensive? $8.45 a QUART??? I feel like I am in the Bahamas. 

Okay as I am writing now, I am in Balt. Md. Today Don and I will be during north. I will try to keep you all in the loop. 

It sure is nice to see my old friends again. Don and Meg. I am very blessed to say we have known each other since we were 7 years old. To me that is a great friend. 

If you think of me today say a prayer or two. It might be a long drive. 

Monday is our day to finish up projects.

As I'm leaving for Balt on Thursday morning. So first of all Miss Wells. She had us do like five small jobs. One was caulking a couple of spots. Cutting some branches off of her mango tree. They were hanging down and the guys cutting the grass would hit their heads on them. Plus a couple very small jobs. But she is happy and we are too

Now need to put a piece of carpet into Sue's kitchen. Hey a while back we tried to fix her the tiles that were popping up and some are cracked to. So the carpet should solve here problem. 

She is happy and we are to. Now Joe. He has a small dog named Marlo and he is having trouble climbing up the steps. 

So Joe asked us to build him a small ramp that he can go up. Well first ramp the one side was to high, so we cut it down now this is what he wanted done. 

I am not sure if he will use it or not? But we are all caught up on jobs around here. 

Yesterday (Tuesday) Roy and I helped a couple of sisters move their mom up to a asst living apartment. I write about that tomorrow at the airport. 

So please if you think of me tomorrow morning from 3 am to 9 am. I will be driving south to Ft Laud. getting on the Tri Rail and going to the airport and flying out to Balt. I will explain more during my time there. 

Please praise Him today for all He is doing and going to do in your life. 

On Friday afternoon, left for Winter Haven.

I didn't hit rain until I got to Lake Whales. Then I was in it all the way to my cousin's (Bonita) home. Hey got there with no troubles, but it took me 2 plus hours to drive there. It is funny the GPS tell me 1 hour and 43 minutes??We sat around and got some what caught up. My main reason was to explain to her my final wishes. Got a great night of rest. Got up early and drove over to McDonald's and had breakfast and then went over to Staples and make some copies of my last will and other paper work for her and her brother (Greg) 

Got back and explained everything to her and will do the same when I get back from Baltimore, the end of Sept. With her brother Greg. 

Okay need to cut some grass. It has been a while since she has had it done. So the grass was pretty high in areas. 

This was kinda funny here, I would push down one row and the bag f the lawn mower was full again. 

At the end the lawn looks great.I filled up 6 bags of grass.  I took a shower and then we went shopping. Stopped at Long John Silver's for lunch. It really tasted really good. Plus the AW root beer was pretty good too. 

We got back and relaxed and watched a couple of movies, Pretty much I slept more than watched. 

I said my good byes and went to bed. Got up early and started out for home myself. 

It was a full moon that morning. 

I had to stop to wash my windshield off, the sun was straight ahead of me. As I am heading east. 

Got home safely and took a shower and went to church (The Crossing) Pastor Craig had a wonderful message about DON"T ARGUE. It really did talk to me. The reason I say that is. Where my home is there is a Kingdom Hall across the street from our entrance to our homes. I always think I should go over there and have a nice talk with those folks. But as I think about that message not my job. It is the Holy Spirit's 

Okay open my washer up and pulled my clean clothes out and guess who was in there? He or she made it thru the washing of my clothes. I am sorry to say after wards he or she didn't make it any farther. 

Over all I had a wonderful week-end seeing my cuz and just enjoying some rest.

 I am so blessed and today we, Roy and I help a couple of folks out by moving their mom to Ormond Beach area. 

Then on Thursday I will be flying out to Balt. Md. So prayerfully tomorrow is a day of rest. 

Friday was a day to get all loose ends done.

This is Nina's home. we had to clean it an paint the shutter. Plus painted the screen door in front. 

The patio furniture came out really looking good. That was just by cleaning it. 

All that matters is she is very happy and loves her new look. 

After getting this done we did a couple other small projects. Then I drove to Winter Haven  to go see my cousin Bonita. 

I got there with no troubles at all. It just seemed like it took a little longer than normal. 2 hours plus. 

But we sat around and got caught up a little. I explained to her about what I have planned out at the end of my being here n earth too. 

Folks I know I have talked about this a couple of times. But we don't ever know when or where our time will end here on earth. Please make sure your family members are not the ones that have to deal with it. 

Our precious Lord wants us to be prepared. 

Going south for two reason.

As I was traveling on Kings Highway. I saw this truck, wow he has a full load,plus. 

I am not sure why I am surprised every time I come down this way. WHY is there so much traffic? 

Hey I have a dentist appointment at 10 am. It took me 2 + hours to get there from my home. Oh well I made it. I called and all is okay. Got there and this time it is a root canal. OH BOY. 

You can see I really don't have to many real teeth left. These are all caps. So what was happening was. These two caps are a bridge for two missing teeth. There was some decal and I started feeling  very sensitive to cold fruit and ice cream. So I had appointment at the end of Sept. But I will be leaving for Baltimore, MD. next week. I will be gone for three weeks. So thinking maybe better get it fitted now. 

Well she did it, was drill a hole in the first tooth and pull out three nerves. Then she used a very small files to clean the tooth out. It really went good. Not sure about you,but these are things I don't look forward too? I can tell you this, My dentist is so sweet and carrying. Plus she has very small hands. As I have been dealing with her for over four years or more. She has given me the best service and prices. Pretty much half price. That is why I drive down here every time. 

Remember I am very cheap when it comes to saving money. I know the drive and gas are not easy to handle but the saving is worth it. 

At the end, my mouth was some what still numb. 

Now mean while I got a call on Wednesday that Scott and his brothers and sister are coming down to check on Lenny. Plus find out what is going on with him. 

So after I got out of the dentist office I texted Scott. To let him know I am done and would like to see the family. So it was lunch time and I didn't hear back from him yet. So I am hungry and I thinking Costco. Now if you have seen I tried the last time and they told me that I have to be a member to go into the food court. Why not try another Costco (Sample Road) 

You can see I got in and got some food. I ate the pizza and saved the sausage sandwich. For later now. 

I got a call and now on my way to Boca and see some family. 

This is my nephews and niece. This is Sue, Jerry and Scott. Now I am very sorry but I think her name is Margaret? But probably not. Hey I have not seen her since good 10 or so. years. 

I am very sorry I am OLD. 

Okay now the reason they are here. Well Lenny has been on a ventilator for over three weeks or so. Remember I was down here and spent a couple of days with Scott and saw Lenny then. Sad part is he really not here now. So on Wednesday afternoon at 4 pm. They shut the ventilator off and pumped him up with morphine and let him breath n his own. He passed on Thursday morning at 6:05. So as we sat around getting caught up with our lives. It was getting close to rush hour, not sure why they call it rush hour. There is NO RUSHING IN THIS TRAFFIC. So I took a picture an said my good byes and prayerful during this next month or so, I might drive up there and spend a little time with them again. 

Okay now it is 5 pm and why am I driving? I pulled off and filled up the truck with some gas and just hung out for a little a while to wait. 

It sure a beautiful sunset. 

I got home safe and took a shower and crashed. 

Folks I am so blessed and can say I miss seeing everyone up north. 

Right now I am in Winter Haven spending a couple a days here with my cousin,  Bonita . .

I pretty much have my passing  (death) in order. Paper work. Want to share with her what I have planned out. I will explain more next week what I am talking about.  

So as the Summer is winding down, please take the time to spend some time with family and enjoy it as long as you can.

Life is SHORT. 

Just to let you know I have been looking into my ending a while back. It is not because of Lenny  situation. If you look back a month or so. I wrote about Neptune Society. 

Folks we need to make plans NOW. 

I love you all and I am not looking at it as OH NO. But knowing where I am going. I have no fears of that. He (Jesus) is coming for me. 

Prayerfully it will be a years away. I have a lot of work to do still. Not for Him but being with family and just enjoying life while I am still here. 

Spend time with them now. 

Wednesday was suppose to be one day project?

Well this is Nina's home. We are here to clean up weeds, clean her house, paint the shutters, paint the screen door. Plus a couple of other small jobs. So while Roy was trimming. I took down the shutters. Then we started spraying her house with the good stuff. I have talked about before. This stuff I get from Home Depot. Folks it really does work. 

While I was cleaning the house, Roy started painting the shutters. House is done. Put up a couple of shutters to see how it looks. I think is is a match. So took the screen door down. Now I didn't see the two screws on the left hand side of the frame. So taking the door out was not that easy. But it came. 

Sprayed painted the one frame to see how it will look. Plus that is the one I had trouble getting off. So it is back on and no problem. Next time I will look a little bit harder for the screws. 

Okay came back form lunch and the rain started coming down. Oh well, we got the door painted some what. It just took a long time to dry, too much moister in the air. Got the door back up and it looked okay. It really needs some touch up with the paint. I guess my hands were not that clean put it up. So I texted Nina about the rain, meanwhile she was gone all day long with doctor appointments. 

So she came home and told me to come back when ever we can. That will be today, after I play tennis and go pick up flooring for Roy's brother Richie, he went up an paid for it on Wednesday. 

Then we will be back here to finish up spray painting the shutter and the screen door. 

Yesterday I had to go south for a dentist appointment . I will share about that trip this week-end. 

Off to tennis I must go.

Folks I know we all have differences on who is right and wrong in the government. But we still need to place of vote and see what God has planned out for our future.

Obey the government, for God is the ONE who put it there. ALL governments have been placed in power by GOD. 

I enjoy going in early and doing it. There is never any lines and no out in the parking lot trying to sway you vote. 

Please take the time and vote. 

Hey Roy is back and we have a nice small job.

On Friday afternoon I got a call about a plumbing problem. So I rode over there and took a look. 

I look from under and see the holes look like a normal set up. 

This is Joe's mom's house. He told me he had a friend come over to try to fix the problem. He had a some troubles getting the apart. 

Well as long as you have the correct tools things seem to work better. 

All lined up and looking good. I think.

All I did was glue some fittings together and turned the water on, all is well. again.The line on the right goes to the ice maker on the refrigerator. that had a small leak. But I took it apart again and put some caulk on the inside of the copper pipe and fittings. 

So I asked Joe not to turn that valve on until the next day. We went over there yesterday and no leaks. 

Today we are washing a house (Nina's) down and painting her shutters and front screen door. I will have pictures tomorrow. 

Not sure about you but this summer seems to be hotter than normal.Or it is my age is showing. Being a wimp.
