Well my little girl loves having folks over and enjoying some good food. This evening we invited Jake and his family over for steaks. This was for Kista (Jake's wife) birthday. So Jeanne and I went out the week before to find some good looking steaks. Sam's Club was where we ended up. The steaks looked great and the price was a fair. Looking at $17.00 a steak. Just think if we went out? That would have been a lot more?
My baby made her a underside down/ pineapple/rum cake.
As we sat around talking about all that has been going on since the last time we were together. The school year is winding down.
So the dinner and company turned out to a good time.
It is crazy how I look at today's date JUNE 12th. How can it BE???
Please take the time to have family over and spend that time getting to know each other and just enjoy it. We don't know what will happen the next day?
As I was talking with my cousin, Bonita, last night. We are making plans to go pick her up and take her over to the Tampa area, June 21st. That day will be a long one, the reason is she need to get back home that evening. She has doctor's appointment the next day (22th) So our plans might go as we have set, but you really don't know until it happens.
It is like on the 19th we are auctioning off Jeanne's old house. Prayerfully she will get the funds she is looking for and we can move on. But like anything, stuff happens.
Just a note we are still trying to get the old house emptied out. So this week a head us is our last one to get it done. I know it will happens, but do I really know???
