SCHOOL IS OUT FOR THE SUMMER. It should be a good song?

Say about four weeks ago or so? Jeanne and I were at Sam's club. Well about two months ago Jeanne made her first, BRISKIT. That is correct. We bought a 9 pound one at Best Meats on Orange Ave. Thinking we did good. I think it was almost $9.00 pound?
Okay at Sam's it is $4.00 a pound? So we bought the biggest one there, 21 + pounds.
Now my baby has been very concern about how the first one came out. She thinking it was not juicy enough. I thought it tasted great. Plus the folks that were here, did to. Oh well she is a chef and wants it to be even, greater tasty.
Okay round #2. We decide that the Wednesday evening, the last day of school, we were going to give it another try.
We got the grill ready that night an the meat was ready too. So we woke up at 4am. That is correct 4AM.

We started the chummy up. Started the fire in the grill.

Got the meat out and put it on the grill. We went back to bed and spelt until 7am. So I got up and came out and the saw the temp was down to 180. NOT GOOD AT ALL. Need 300.

Jeanne got up and she started up the chummy again. Then started up the smoker side with some limbs.
Well after a while the temp went up to 250 and stayed for a while. Then needed to keep putting more limbs in every once and while to keep the temp up to 250.

Our friends came over at 6 pm. That was the time we told them we would be eating. NOT. The brisket was not done yet. So we started playing a game of Yahtzee. Mean while we kept checking the temp of the meat. We need 165 inside of the meat. So around 8:30pm we decide to pull it off and see what happens. The temp was 162.

You can see how the fire stopped in the grill. There was a open area that the charcoal didn't jump over to.

You can see the sun has gone down and I started up a fire on the side to keep the bugs away. Which worked great. We go the brisket off and had a wonderful meal. It was kind a tough. But we all ate it and enjoyed all the fixings too.
Our fiends stayed a little longer to help us clean up a little. But after 10pm we were still cleaning up. I really do not like leave things out until morning. So we put is all back into the shed and it was time for bed. Looking at 11;30pm.
Folks it was a long day and Jeanne and I were both ready for some sleep.
During the night Jeanne put the brisket into the oven an it cooked all night long, at 250 degrees. Plus more time in the morning. Mean while we just finished cleaning up here and I went over to the old house to start bring stuff back home to get rite of. Like school papers from 2019-2020.
I just pilled the bins on the floor in the living room. The reason is Jeanne asked if that would be okay? Sure thing. Ad least we will have to get it done sooner or later, before folks come over. That was a great feeling. But NO, my baby was talking with the Corentt's Julian left his hat here the night before. So Jeanne invited them over to get it an maybe get another taste of the brisket? She was so happy that it was done now. The taste was fantastic. So the Cornetts enjoyed a little ore and told her it tasted much better. It was worth the trip back to our house. Now there was a large green recycling bin the living room and a pile of papers, plus. So I told the Corentt's why it was there. Julian was telling us, how easy it is for him to just after the last day of school how he throws everything away. No need to hold on to anything for school. It is all recorded in the computers and don't worry about it.
Well yesterday morning we heard a great message form Pastor Craig, on blesses and how we are to bless others.
Over all I look back at the time I was living in the Bahamas. I was a missionary there, 9 years. I was very blessed to be there and I know why I was there. To help out with the Centre and Camp.
So during my time there I was blessed and I use to pass on blessing to others.
I over saw the Camp and maintains at the Centre too. So I had many things going on at the same time. So everyday I was blessed and I believed I passed them on too. I look back and sometimes wish I could go back and help there more. But as I am married to my baby now, I have more than I can handle as it is.
Plus I do know one of these days we will be going back over to see my old friends and family there.
By looking at the web site:
www.alcbahamas.org
I just went on line and Dr Kenneth Romer (Executive Director) has a video on what is going on over there. It is sad to say, not much. But I know Our Lord is still there and He will bring a kinds of folks  back and this place, it will rock again, one day.
So please say a prayer or two and let us see what He has planned out?
