Last week Roy and I cleaned up the front door area. Had to take the screen door down and painted it and the frames around the door.
This was Roy's job, to hand paint the wood frame around the inside of the door jam, plus.
All I did was washed down the door and sides. Then used Rustoleum White Gloss Spray Paint.
I think I used 7 cans. But in the end it looked great.
So, we didn't put the screen back in, yet? The reason is, wanting to make sure it was fully dry. So, we came back on Monday (11th) to put in the screen and take out their jacuzzi out. They were telling us that they have not used it for the last 10m years or so.
Well, we looked in the motor area and made sure the power was off and safe to take it apart.
Okay now how are we to take it apart? I got out my Zaw Saw. Put the 12" all-purpose saw blade.
Surprise how light the sections I cut out. Just kept cutting and Roy took the pieces out and loaded them up on Jeanne's truck. It took two loads to get ready and take to the landfill.
The first load cost $8.90 and the last one was $10.12.
We packed it so good it was hard to get it apart when we got to the landfill. But at the end all went well.
Oh, except coming back to Connie and Butch's house. Had a blow out on the front right-hand tire.
You really can't see where we are parked. But it is in the middle between road to North 95 and South 95.
Had trouble with getting the spare down. I called up Butch and asked if he could bring me a can of WD 40. Plus, my cut off saw, just in case the WD40 doesn't work. WD$) worked great and got the spare down and got the old tire off and put on the spare.
I am so glad the WD40 worked so well. I really didn't want to cut the cable that holds the spare up under the truck. I had a can in the truck, but it was empty, must have had the can leaning on it side and emptied it out.
Got back to Butch's home and loaded up my tools and even got paid for all we did.
Folks at the end of the day, it sure nice to get the job done and do it correctly.
When my customers are happy, I am too.
This is my Dentist. She has come a long way. I first started going to her, back in 2002 or around then. Not surer when, but she opened up her own office. So, I am still going to her. She has always been very fair on her prices, and she has small hands and they fit in my month with no trouble.
It is worth the drive 100 miles to see her, and she has always taken good care of my teeth and very professional staff too. If you need a dentist, please check her out.
So, on Tuesday morning I drove to Fort Lauderdale and got my new partial. Uppers and replacement of 4 teeth. It fits but does hurt a little. I guess I will get used to it.
Well, today is Friday and this week-end Jeanne and I have some things to do and hopefully will take some pictures to share with you all. Plus, a story to go with them.
My prayers are always about how He can use this blog to bring GLORY TO HIS NAME.
