Well just to get you caught up alittle

There a couple of pictures below. The first one is part of our Summer Camp. We are very blessed to see all that has come out to help us. I am sorry but I really don't know every ones name so I will not even try to tell you. Like I said in this picture we are missing a couple more. So by His providing us staff we will be able to run a full house here. Looking at around 70 kids each week. Prayerfully, this will happen. It is not the money we are looking at, it is the joy we see in each kid that comes through here and they will all have a chance to hear God's Word. If you understand what we do and why. That is the bottom line, them Knowing Christ. We will be doing a lot of things this Summer and I will try to keep you all in the loop.

Now on my side. Linda is going to be cooking for Mission Discovery this Summer at our Camp. She had her hands full a couple of days ago. I asked her to clean up the stove. It is old and really doesn't get the cleaning it needs every time we use it. So now it is looking good and she can keep it clean and running. Plus Eldora and her went shopping yesterday to get the supplies that will be needed for these groups. They will be flying in on Sunday and it is a small group of 23. I did pick up Nate last night at the airport. He was telling me that there is no helpers coming this Summer for Mission Discovery Groups. I know we will make is happen.
Like I said before He is running this place and that is all I need to know.

Take a look at all the people here

This is the young lady that will be helping me out during the Summer.

I do have a large Prayer request

I am sad to say that my step sister (Betsy) is in CCU at Boca Hospital in West Palm Beach, Florida. She has been in a coma since last week. I just got word last night from my brother in law. I have asked a friend of mine to go visit her. But now knowing she will not be able talk with her. This will not be able to happen.
I asked for prayer for her to come out and be able to have her life back. I know it is not looking good at this time. But I know my Lord is willing and able to do anything we ask, as long it is His will. So please say a prayer or two. She really is a great woman and has done so much for others. Like I said I talked with Lenny, (brother in law), all he could say is she is such a good woman. I told him that it rains on the just and the unjust too.
I think of her and see a wonderful woman that our Lord made to be a example of a servant.

Yes today is WHIT MONDAY

While you probably enjoy having the day off for the Late Spring Bank Holiday do you know why we have this holiday?

The holiday originates from the Christian festival of Pentecost (also known as Whit Sunday). Pentecost is observed on the seventh Sunday after Easter. On this day the Holy Spirit visited the disciples and inspired them to go out and preach the word of Christ. For this reason the day is celebrated as the anniversary of the birth of the Christian church. Traditionally a time of baptism, the alternative name Whit Sunday, or White Sunday, derives from the custom of wearing white while being baptized. Whit Monday (the bank holiday) was of course the following day.

Easter is a moveable holiday so the Whit Monday used to fall anywhere between 11 May and 14 June, (the day after the seventh Sunday after Easter.) To make this a regular date, in 1971, Whit Monday was formally replaced by a fixed spring holiday on the last Monday in May. Although the bank holiday no longer falls on the church's Whitsuntide most people still refer to this holiday as Whit Monday.

There are a number of customs associated with Whit Monday. In the south west of England you can see cheese rolling and throwing competitions. In the north west Whit walks are parades led by local brass bands, clergy, dignitaries and uniformed organisation such as Girl Guides and Scouts. The walks often end up at a Whit Ale a type fair with sports, competitions, dancing and of course drinking and eating!

I know it is only Sunday.

Hey this week-end is only half over. Here in the Bahamas we have off on Monday too. Witt Monday. Will explain next time. I had a chance to go out with a couple of my guy friends Friday night. We all meet at a place called The Cricket Club. No it is not a place to see bugs? It is called the Cricket Club because right below is the field that they use to play cricket. Yes these islands where owned by England so Cricket is a big ting here. I have only watched it twice. Still not sure what goes on while they are playing it. All I know is this Cricket Club has some good food and they even have a couple of guys playing a drum and organ.
The reason we got together was, just to share what has been going on in our lives and just get caught up a little on life itself. I have known these guys, Rudy, Harold and Ambrose for over 5 years. Eric was here during Patmos 4 years ago. So we try to get together and see what has been happening. By just sitting there and listening. I hear they are all pretty busy with work and a couple of these guys have children too. So it has been a rough road for a couple of them. I just love these guys and enjoy their company.
Then Saturday night I had a chance to go visit a couple I have known for about 4 years. This is Harri, (Clarence) and Carol. Now I know you have seen Harri before on this blog. He comes over to the ALC and helps me out with some work projects on every other Friday. I really haven spent that much time with his wife. Carol. So they asked me over and we had a good fellowship time. You know getting to know each other. Carol was sharing about her life as growing up. She was brought up in Canada. Just north of Toronto. Really sounded like the good old days. You knew everyone and they knew you too. It sounds nice, but every one knew your business too.
I am so blessed to be able to call them my family here. Harri is a guy that is willing to help us out at ALC. Which to me is a real friend. He could be staying home working on his own home or just relaxing. But Friday comes along he is there to do the job.

Yes I know I put both pictures in

The guys got together Friday night

The web page I was talking about

The Tribune of Nassau, Bahamas.

http://www.tribune242.com/06102011_AIDfire_news_pg1

Just cut or copy and paste it on Google. You can read the same story I wrote about.

If you have checked out my blog for the last 5 years

I have written about two main business that have gone up in flames since I have been here. My only question is HOW and WHY can't they stop the fire after it is started? The two business I am talking about is Paint Place burnt down in 2006 (I think) Then Topps Lumber went up in 2008. Like I said I think these are the years. But why. I read the news paper this morning about what happen. FIRST right after the fire started they ran out of water? The reason was the fire plug was not working. Then I read about how they had to call in the Airports fire trucks. The reason was there were fuels and other things like paint and what ever a auto part store has. They didn't call them until after 6pm. The fire started around 2:30pm. I am writing word for word that is in the Friday The Tribune: By 6pm the fire had intensified and fire services called for reinforcements from the Air Port Authority as the fire APPEARED TO BE CHEMICAL????????????????What do you mean appeared to BE It was a auto part store and every auto part store I know of has chemicals. I am sorry but this was very foolish and it should had been the first call to be made.
If you want to read the story yourself go on the web page and put in The Tribune Nassau, Bahamas.
Being a auto part store the fire department should know better

Another business goes up in flames.

When you are INSULTED, CHOOSE TO PRAY

When You Are Insulted, Choose to Pray
by Tom Holladay

"Pray for those who insult you." Luke 6:28 (GWT)
When it comes to being insulted, there is something Jesus said in Matthew 5 that can make us scratch our heads. "If someone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to him the other cheek also" (Matthew 5:39 NCV). Huh?
In order to understand this verse, we need to understand the culture of that day. In biblical times, a slap was not an act of violence. It was a backhanded slap indicating an insult. When you slapped someone on the cheek, you were insulting that person. Many times the person would slap back with another insult.
People insult you to gain control. If they can get you to insult them back, you've given them the higher ground and it puts them in control.
What Jesus was saying in Matthew 5 is to just let it go. Don't play their game. Give the situation to God.
It takes a lot of strength not to insult someone in return. So how do you do it?

Remember what God says about you. No matter what negative thing that person says, remember that God says he loves you. God made you, and he has a plan and purpose for your life. God's opinion is more important than any other person's opinion.

Instead of retaliating, God wants us to break the cycle in a different way. "Don't retaliate when people say unkind things about you. Instead, pay them back with a blessing. That is what God wants you to do, and he will bless you for it" (1 Peter 3:9 NLT). How do you return an insult with a blessing? Pray. "Pray for those who insult you" (Luke 6:28 GWT).
How do you pray for somebody who has hurt you? King David, a man after God's own heart, prayed for people who insulted and rejected him. You can find many of those prayers in the book of Psalms. What I love about his prayers is that he begins many of them by telling God his honest feelings about the people who hurt him.
That's how our prayers should start. Don't pretend to be pious; God knows what is on your mind anyway. Tell God how you honestly feel. Admit you are struggling to pray for the other person, but then ask God to bless him or her. Honest and humble prayers have the power to make a difference in this world.

"Love is knowing God, and happiness is sharing Him with others".
Love one another: for love is of God".
John 4:7

Come on these are JOKES and ONLY JOKES Laugh a little.

*DISNEYLAND*
Two blondes were going to Disneyland . They were driving on the
Interstate when they saw the sign that said Disneyland LEFT. They
started crying and turned around and went home.*

FLORIDA OR MOON*
Two blondes living in Oklahoma were sitting on a bench talking, and one
blonde says to the other, 'Which do you think is farther away... Florida
or the moon?' The other blonde turns and says 'Helloooooooooo, can you
see Florida?'*

CAR TROUBLE*
A blonde pushes her BMW into a gas station. She tells the

RIVER WALK*
There's this blonde out for a walk. She comes to a river and sees

AT THE DOCTOR'S OFFICE*
A gorgeous young redhead goes into the doctor's office and said that
her body hurt wherever she touched it.*
Impossible!' says the doctor.. 'Show me.'*
The redhead took her finger, pushed on her left shoulder and screamed,
then she pushed her elbow and screamed even more. She pushed her knee
and screamed; likewise she pushed her ankle and screamed. Everywhere she
touched made her scream.*
The doctor said, 'You're not really a redhead, are you?*
Well, no' she said, 'I'm actually a blonde.'*
I thought so,' the doctor said, 'Your finger is broken.'*

KNITTING*
A highway patrolman pulled alongside a speeding car on the freeway.
Glancing at the car, he was astounded to see that the blonde behind the

'PULL OVER!'*
NO!' the blonde yelled back, 'IT'S A SCARF!'*

BLONDE ON THE SUN*
A Russian, an American, and a Blonde were talking one day.*
The Russian said, 'We were the first in space!'*
The American said, 'We were the first on the moon!'*
The Blonde said, 'So what? We're going to be the first on the sun!' The
Russian and the American looked at each other and shook their heads.*
You can't land on the sun, you idiot! You'll burn up!' said the Russian.*
To which the Blonde replied, 'We're not stupid, you know. We're going
at night!'*

IN A VACUUM*
A blonde was playing Trivial Pursuit one night.... It was her turn. She
rolled the dice and she landed on Science & Nature. Her question was,
'If you are in a vacuum and someone calls your name, can you hear it?'
She thought for a time and then asked, 'Is it on or off?'*

FINALLY,
THE BLONDE JOKE TO END ALL BLONDE JOKES!*
A girl was visiting her blonde friend, who had acquired two new dogs,
and asked her what their names were. The blonde responded by saying that
one was named Rolex and one was named Timex. Her friend said, 'Whoever
heard of someone naming dogs like that?' 'HELLLOOOOOOO......,' answered
the blonde. They're watch dogs.

Yes this is us laying on a hammock (Scooby an I)

Today is June 8th 2011

Do you know I have been here for 6 years, (June 2, 2005). If you have been watching my blog and seeing all that has been going on since I have been here. I just am so blessed to say I signed up for 6 months and look it has been 6 years. I have been told before that most maintenance people only make it for a year or two. Not even thinking 6 years. I do look back at the times when I really did ask Him, am I suppose to be here still? I am here because of Him and only because of HIM Jesus Christ.
It has been a rough road some days and easy one too. All I can say is I am here until He calls me out. I do love being part of this ministry Adventure Learning Centre. But if you have read some of the tings I deal with. You would ask yourself how does he he still do it? Like I have talked about before, His grace and His strength. There is no other answer.
So now what do I do? I will stay here until He comes and gets me, or He tells me it is time to go somewhere else.
Now you can understand the picture I have above here. I do get to lay around on a hammock and play with Scooby. Oh this is after I worked all day long.

Hey look I just was given $50.00 for having insurance with this company

Ministry Of Encouragement

**RELIGIOUS HUMOR**

**A father was approached by his small son who told him proudly, "I know
what the Bible means!"
His father smiled and replied, "What do you mean, you 'know' what the
Bible means?
The son replied, "I do know!"
"Okay," said his father. "What does the Bible mean?"
"That's easy, Daddy..." the young boy replied excitedly," It stands for
'Basic Information Before Leaving Earth.' (This one is my favorite)

=======

There was a very gracious lady who was mailing an old family Bible to
her brother in another part of the country.
"Is there anything breakable in here?" asked the postal clerk.
"Only the Ten Commandments." answered the lady.

========

"Somebody has said there are only two kinds of people in the world.
There are those who wake up in the morning and say, "Good morning,
Lord," and there are those who wake up in the morning and say, "Good
Lord, it's morning."

========

A minister parked his car in a no-parking zone in a large city because
he was short of time and couldn't find a space with a meter.
Then he put a note under the windshield wiper that read: "I have
circled the block 10 times. If I don't park here, I'll miss my
appointment. Forgive us our trespasses."
When he returned, he found a citation from a police officer along with
this note "I've circled this block for 10 years. If I don't give you a
ticket I'll lose my job. Lead us not into temptation."

========

There is the story of a pastor who got up one Sunday and announced to
his congregation: "I have good news and bad news. The good news is, we
have enough money to pay for our new building program. The bad news is,
it's still out there in your pockets."

========

While driving in Pennsylvania, a family caught up to an Amish carriage.
The owner of the carriage obviously had a sense of humor, because
attached to the back of the carriage was a hand printed sign... "Energy
efficient vehicle: Runs on oats and grass. Caution: Do not step in exhaust."

========

A Sunday School teacher began her lesson with a question, "Boys and
girls, what do we know about God?"
A hand shot up in the air. "He is an artist!" said the kindergarten boy.
"Really? How do you know?" the teacher asked.
"You know - Our Father, who does art in Heaven... "

========

A minister waited in line to have his car filled with gas just before a
long holiday weekend. The attendant worked quickly, but there were many
cars ahead of him. Finally, the attendant motioned him toward a vacant pump.
"Reverend," said the young man, "I'm so sorry about the delay. It seems
as if everyone waits until the last minute to get ready for a long trip."
The minister chuckled, "I know what you mean. It's the same in my business."

========

People want the front of the bus, the back of the church, and the center
of attention.

========

Sunday after church, a Mom asked her very young daughter what the lesson
was about.
The daughter answered, "Don't be scared, you'll get your quilt."
Needless to say, the Mom was perplexed. Later in the day, the pastor
stopped by for tea and the Mom asked him what that morning's Sunday
school lesson was about.
He said "Be not afraid, thy comforter is coming."

========

The minister was preoccupied with thoughts of how he was going to ask
the congregation to come up with more money than they were expecting for
repairs to the church building. Therefore, he was annoyed to find
that the regular organist was sick and a substitute had been brought in
at the last minute. The substitute wanted to know what to play.
"Here's a copy of the service," he said impatiently. "But, you'll have
to think of something to play after I make the announcement about the
finances."
During the service, the minister paused and said, "Brothers and Sisters,
we are in great difficulty; the roof repairs cost twice as much as we
expected and we need $4,000 more. Any of you who can pledge $100 or
more, please stand up."
At that moment, the substitute organist played "The Star Spangled Banner."
And that is how the substitute became the regular organist!

When you carry the Bible, Satan gets a headache..... When you open it,
he collapses..... When he sees you reading it, he faints..... When he
sees that you are living what you read, he flees..... And when you are
about to forward this message.... He will try and discourage you. I
just defeated him!!! Any other takers?

Please take a minute and read this. I hope you laugh as hard as I did

If you don't know GOD, don't make stupid remarks!!!!!!
A United States Marine was taking some college courses
between assignments. He had completed 20 missions in Iraq
and Afghanistan . One of the courses had a professor who
was an avowed atheist, and a member of the ACLU.

One day the professor shocked the class when he came in.
He looked to the ceiling and flatly stated, "GOD, if you are real, then
I want you to knock me off this platform... I'll give you exactly 15 min."
The lecture room fell silent. You could hear a pin drop. Ten minutes
went by and the professor proclaimed, "Here I am GOD, I'm still waiting."

It got down to the last couple of minutes when the Marine got
out of his chair, went up to the professor, and cold-cocked him;
knocking him off the platform. The professor was out cold.

The Marine went back to his seat and sat there, silently.
The other students were shocked and stunned, and sat there
looking on in silence. The professor eventually came to,
noticeably shaken, looked at the Marine and asked,
"What in the world is the matter with you? Why did you do that?"

The Marine calmly replied,
"GOD was too busy today protecting America 's
soldiers who are protecting your right to say stupid stuff and
act like an idiot. So He sent me."

The classroom erupted in cheers!

Hello my friends from CCA 4th grade

I just finished cutting out all of your letters so I could take a picture of them. I am so happy to hear from you guys. It really was nice of Mrs Adams to have you all write a note or two. I read them last night and then wrote back to all of you. I really hope and pray I didn't miss any one of you?
I know your school year is ending very shortly. So I don't think I will see you again in your class. But when I do get back that way, around Sept, I would love to see you guys again. I know by then you will all be in different classes. So maybe I will see you around the campus during my time there.
I just want you all to know how much I enjoyed reading your letters. Oh plus how you all ask me about my tooth. Like I told you in the e mail. It has been pulled and I still need some more work done on my mouth. So please when your mom or dad ask to to go to the dentist. Please go and don't be scared. They are there to help you not to hurt you. I had to learn the hard way. I didn't like my dentist, but I wish I went more offend. I would not have the trouble I am having now. Please listen to your mom and dad. They love you very much and that just want the best for you.
I really hope and pray you have a wonderful Summer and like I said, maybe we will see each other next time I am in town. If not I know we will see each other in heaven down the road.
I just want to say thank you very much Mrs Adams for your time and willingness to have me come in and share with your class.
I am not sure if the school will be doing that next school year or not. I hope so. It is a lot of fun to see these kids faces and smiles while I was there.
Thank you again for all of your prayers too. I know that is how I make each day here at the Adventure Learning Centre. That is the only way I would be able to fix and repair all I do here.

I am so blessed to know I am prayed for each day of the week.

Going through some pictures a friend sent to me last week.

This is SCOOBY DOOOOOOO

What you can do with a cell phone, good stuff

Very Useful cell phone info

*Here is a list of things that you may or may not know about!*

*/_THINGS YOU NEVER KNEW YOUR CELL PHONE COULD DO._/*
*
There are a few things that can be done in times of
grave emergencies. Your mobile phone can actually be
a life saver or an emergency tool for survival. Check
out the things that you can do with it:*
*_
FIRST_
Subject: Emergency
The Emergency Number worldwide for Mobile is 112.*
*If you find yourself out of the coverage area of your**
mobile; network and there is an emergency, dial 112
and the mobile will search any existing network to
establish the emergency number for you, and interestingly
this number 112 can be dialed even if the keypad is locked.
Try it out. (I have entered in my cell phone number directory.)*
*_
SECOND_**
Subject: Have you locked your keys in the car?*
*Does your car have remote keyless entry? This may come in handy
someday. Good reason to own a cell phone: If you lock your keys
in the car and the spare keys are at home, call someone at home
on their cell phone from your cell phone. Hold your cell phone
about a foot from your car door and have the person at your home
press the unlock button, holding it near the mobile phone on
their end. Your car will unlock. Saves someone from having to
drive your keys to you. Distance is no object. You could be
hundreds of miles away, and if you can reach someone who has the
other "remote" for your car, you can unlock the doors (or the
trunk).**
Editor's Note: It works fine! We tried it out and it unlocked
our car over a cell phone!"*
*_
THIRD_**
Subject: Hidden Battery Power
Imagine your cell battery is very low. To activate, press
the keys *3370# Your cell will restart with this reserve
and the instrument will show a 50% increase in battery.
This reserve will get charged when you charge your cell
next time. (I have entered the access # in cell phone directory.)*
*_
FOURTH_**
How to disable a STOLEN mobile phone?
To check your Mobile phone's serial number, key in the
following digits on your phone: * # 0 6 # A 15 digit code will
appear on the screen. This number is unique to your handset.
Write it down and keep it somewhere safe. When your phone get
stolen, you can phone your service provider and give them this
code. They will then be able to block your handset so even if
the thief changes the SIM card, your phone will be totally
useless. You probably won't get your phone back, but at least
you know that whoever stole it can't use/sell it either.
If everybody does this, there would be no point in people
stealing mobile phones. And Finally....(I have made note of my
phone's serial number.)*
*_
FIFTH_**
Cell phone companies are charging us $1.00 to $1.75 or
more for 411 information calls when they don't have to.
Most of us do not carry a telephone directory in our
vehicle, which makes this situation even more of a problem. When
you need to use the 411 information option, simply dial: (800)
FREE 411, or (800) 373-3411 without incurring any charge at all.
Program this into your cell phone now. (I have entered this # in
my cell phone directory.)* *_
Sixth_*
*NEVER DIAL A 1 ON YOUR CELL*
*IF YOU ARE MAKING A LONG DISTANCE CALL YOU DO NOT HAVE TO DIAL
1 - THE AREA CODE - THEN THE NUMBER.*
*THERE IS A FEE WHEN YOU USE 1 (ONE)
*
*
This is the kind of information people don't mind receiving, so
pass it on to your family and friends. *

Okay now I can tell you why all the log in today

This week that has passed as been a real stretch for me. First Saturday after noon. I took the group that is below to the canals. We went there to go swimming and just relax. I left my phone on a towel and came back and it was gone. My problem, really, I saw the people sitting around and figure they would not touch my phone. Please don't be like me, trusting every one. So after that day I could not talk with no one by phone. First problem is I don't have numbers. That is right PLEASE take ten minutes and write down all your numbers in your phone. If not when you get it stolen or miss placed. They are gone for good.
Sunday was a nice day to relax. But I had a group in and had to make sure they cleaned up and left around 2pm. Looking at the pictures below, you see a freezer with colored water under it. This got unplugged by that group. Now it really was not their fault. By looking at the way the plug is in the wall. There is a surge protector on it and weights the plug down. It just fill out and was laying on the floor. No one saw it. So Thursday morning I was going around and checking to see how the kitchen looked and the back apartment. (Oh mean while Steve's group left last Tuesday morning). I saw the mess on the floor and just shook my head and said WHY? By looking at it I can see how it fill out. I put a pumper strap on it and it will not fall out again.
Monday went down and go a new sim chip and I have a phone again. Remember to write the numbers down????
Tuesday morning we had some trouble with the electric at the Centre. I tried to start up the generator. Battery dead. mean while Spot (Large sheep)came over to me and bucked me and my knee as been in pain since. I hit him over the head with a two by four. He just looked at me and said let play some more. We need to get him a friend or rite of him. I know some others have been bucked by him before. Now remember I did teach him that trick when he was a lamb. I would put my fist out and say come on hit it. He learned fast and now I get the pay back.
We got the electric back up, but I was still hurting, and still are.
Wednesday my next group came in, Calvary Chapel Ft Laud. 8 of them. They got in the I took them around and Mark showed them what and why we do what we do. Then the next day they were pretty much on their own. They did well. I think?
Friday Harri came in to help me. Which was a neat time to share and just get some work done. The toilet below is still leaking? We know now what is wrong. The tank has a crack and the water is dripping out there. I bought some stuff Harri told me that would work. I hope Monday to fix that.
Friday the train battery dead. So pulled it and put a charge on it. Plus a couple of others things broke too. But over all we are in good shape.
Saturday fixed the train. Then the van battery went dead? Pulled it out and it is on the charger as I write. Pulled the battery out of the Ford. Now that doesn't have a battery. The Jeep and Ford no battery. Hopefully Monday we should be in good shape. Prayerfully.
Today Sunday, I have been able to get on my blog and write and pictures all kinds of tings. I could not get onto my blog log in last week. I was using Fire Fox. Now using Explorer. That is why I have not written on it since last week end.

Saying good bye to a real neat group of freinds.

This was a waste of around $250.00

I am so blessed to have friends like Harri

Like I said they came in on Tuesday and will be here until this coming Tuesday. While here this is who and what they have been up to.
Wednesday got up and I took them to a place called BAFPD This is a school for people that have some handy caps. So they worked there until around 3pm.
Thursday they stayed with our crew and help out with 50 kids that came in from the schools here.
Friday I had them set up to be at Bahamas Humane Society. There they cleaned out cages and just did what was told for them to do. They worked so hard that they finished all of their chores by 11:00am. Then they went driving around and just checking this place out.
Saturday I worked them for about 3 hours. Cleaning and filling water bottles and digging a hole for our small pond we want to put into the goat pasture. Then we all went out to eat some good old food at the Fish Fry. Then Star Bucks and the Dig. Got home at 11pm.
Sunday then did their own church at the real nice beach called Cabbage Beach.
Mean while this week end I had others here too at the Camp. Seven Day Adventists. They brought in 68 kids and 20 leaders to stay here from Friday night 3pm until about a hour from now. Sunday 1pm.
So over all this week and end has been full of all kinds of things to fix and repair too. It is all to bring glory to His Name and by tomorrow this place will be back in order. God willing plus my other helpers (6)

This is a prayer request this morning

Mom's purse was stolen out of Dot & Carl's car yesterday afternoon. They were dropping Joy off after they had been to register to vote. Mom went to help Joy inside, Carl was at the gate and Dot was sitting in the front passenger seat. They were going to take mom to the hospital to get Joy's medication which is why she left her purse in the car. Dot heard a thump on the side of the car and thought it was Carl coming around on that side of the car but when she looked, she saw a young guy high tailing it through the corner near us.

The biggest issue is that mom and Joy's passports were in the purse. Pray that the guy just took the money and leaves the rest of the stuff to be found.

Yes God does answer PRAYERS

My aunt just borrowed my car to go to the store in Harbour Bay. She was passing a house around the corner that no one is living in. She thought she glimpsed mom's purse in an enclosure for garbage tins. She stopped and looked and it was her purse. Some stuff was outside the purse but everything that she had in the purse was still there including the passports. The only thing missing was the cash!!

Dot and those had driven around there yesterday to see if they saw anything but didn't see anything.

Thanks to everyone for praying.

Prayer requset from a good friend, Harri

Mario asked me to pray for his 1 year old daughter Glenda Vitoria. She
was born prematurely and has had respiratory problems since birth.
Recently they have gotten worse. Sometimes the mucous buildup in her
lungs and nasal passages makes her stop breathing, and she begins to
turn blue. This of course, scares her parents to death as they race to
remove the congestion from her nose and mouth and get her breathing
again. They have a June consultation with a neurologist and hope to get
the meds she has taken since birth updated to her current weight and
growth. Please pray that the Lord would protect this young life and give
Glenda a chance to grow up.

Please take a couple of minutes to watch this below

Please watch. Each viewer counts and it is only 2 minutes long.

Keith Leibovitz's youngest nephew is working on a project for WW II veterans. And enclosed is a "trailer". They are trying to get 50000 views before Memorial Day. It is pretty poignant and is one of Seth's projects. Kindly forward so more can view it. You need to view the whole thing to be counted, it's only 2 min long.
Seth has been working on a full-length feature documentary about a program to honor WWII vets and has now released a trailer, and it would really help out if you watched it in full, and spread it around to other folks who would enjoy it. Working on this has bee n a very emotional experience, because the story is so, so powerful. I think you'll agree.

Please copy this and paste it on your web site. I really think we need to pass this on to all of us that live in freedom. Thanks you vets fro what you have done.

Yesterday was Mother's Day

I was wondering if you folks out there really spent sometime with your mom's? The reason I say this is. Pretty much during yesterday, I was thinking of my mom, Elleen and Florance (step). Well if you don't know this. Elleen passed back in 1966. She was in a car wreck with my dad. That day was Mother's Day. She passed the following Saturday. My father lived another 36 years and during that time he was married to a wonderful woman named Florance. She was the one that was there when I was in my teen ages. So for her and I we didn't see eye to eye on a lot of things. But down the road while I was getting older we pretty much understood each other and that was a good time. Then my dad passed in 2002. So her life somewhat changed. My sister Betsy and her hubby Lenny pretty much took care of her until 2009.
I can remember the times we had, some bad, but most good.
So yesterday I went over to my sister's home, Betsy's and Lenny and sat around and just had a nice time to remember and talk about how her live was very rewarding and how there was some trouble and you know time to pull your hair out? But the neat thing is how my sister was always there for her and Lenny too. They really had their hands full with her. But in the end we all can say she was a good woman and she did love your family, most times.
To say all this is please spend time with your mom. The reason is next year you might not be able to.
I ask for your prayers for my sister. She had some work done on her legs and it really has been a rough road for her. She is in pain more now after the work. So if you think of her say a prayer or Two.

Just want to give you a update on what has been going on here.

Yes my time has been flying by. I came here on Wednesday the 4th. Today is the 8th. Wednesday after getting here I went to Calvary Chapel and spent some time with Jon Bunch. Good time to go get caught up on what God has been doing in his life and a update on Calvary. It sure is nice to ride around and have good time of sharing. Jon was telling me about his ministry and all the guys he gets to listen to and pray for.
Then I went to church. Pastor Chet taught on the end times and he was very impacting. It is so true about this time of our lives. Just look around and see all the times that have happen and what will happen today?
Thursday was a day to do a little shopping. Then that night I had the honor to go to Calvary's Mission Class. which you see below a picture of the class. This class is teaching and training people to see and if God is calling them to the mission field. This class is #2, which means they had a chance to hear about countries and how people lives. Now this one is about putting your feet to the pavement and see if you are willing to go out and be those missionaries. Now if you just think being a missionary, going to another land or have to have a degree. That is not so at all. We all are in the mission field each and everyday we live on this earth. Just think about the people you work with. That is your mission field?
Well the reason Pastor Jym asked me to come and speak was. I am not the one to spread the Word by teaching or even preaching. My way is doing the work so someone else can do that work. We all have gifts and mine is helps and servicing other needs so they can do their gifts. So if you don't feel called to teach or anything like that. Maybe you are the one to help others so they can. I would love to be the one on the stage and teach. But my teaching is showing and helping others. That is why I am at Adventure Learning Centre, Nassau, Bahamas. So this was a time to show we all have a calling.
Then Friday I did more shopping and then that night I had a chance to spend sometime with a friend (Rose) We went out and had Char Hut. Then went to the movies. We went to the show and it really was not that good. I will not go into what it was at this time. Because I am not sure what the name was. It just was a time to enjoy a show and that is all it was. Rose and I have been friends for these many years. During our time we just sat and talked about what and how our Lord has been doing so many tings in our lives. It is so good to see a smiling face and enjoy each other company.
Saturday, guess what I did? Shopping a little. Then had a lunch with a other friend. Dana. She was telling me that this summer she will be getting married. Well the time went by fast and she has a bug problem. So we cut our time short. She had a guy coming over to debug her place. Then that night I went to Calvary Chapel for church. While walking in, I saw the back of this woman. I looked and thought for a minute and said no way? I came over and sat down with her, her name is Karen. Talked a little then church started. After Pastor Bob's teaching. which was on End Times Too. Which was very good and eye opening for these times. Well after I asked Karen to have a coffee and just get caught up a little. We went to Dunkin Donuts. We sat their for about two hours and just had a nice time. While sitting there this guy was sitting next to us and he over heard us talking about Jesus Christ. Well he came over and he shared about his mission field and all God has done in his life.
This morning is Mother's Day. I am at McDonald's for my coffee and getting caught up on my blog and e mails. I am planning on going up north to Lake Worth and see another old friend. Then from there I am praying and hoping to go see my sister and her hubby. This is Betsy and Lenny. Betsy has not been doing that well and when I talked with her Thursday, she was not sure if she would be up to going out for Mother's Day or not. We will see and I hope we can see each other any way.
I will keep you all inform. I will be leaving on Wednesday morning. So please if I have not talked to you or seen you. Please feel free to call me. Last time I was in town I lost my phone and every one number. Then just before I came back over I told every one my phone number. The real sad part was I gave you all the wrong number. This is the CORRECT ONE 954- 655-2057. I have even wrote on my cards the wrong number. So please take note it is 954-655-2057 I wrote 3057. The old mind doesn't work right some times. Most times.

Hey look at what our Lord has given me for this week?

I really do enjoy when people come over here to see this place.

You can see below how people get some time off and make their way over here to the Bahamas. I am so happy to see this happen. Like the two pictures you see below. Ken and Trudy Kalen, came in yesterday an a cruse ship. The came from Fort Lauderdale,Fl, from there they went down to the other islands like St. Thomas and they told me of others, but I have slept since then. You know, I have forgotten.
Well this couple has been around Calvary Chapel for many years now. Ken was on staff at one part of his life. Now they are enjoying their fruit and labor they did for many years. They were telling me about their trips here and there and how our Lord has been so much part of them. Just like this trip alone. They plan on doing this a while back and the day after they left for it, Trudy mom got sick and Trudy was telling me how our Lord was so much there. How the other parts of the family was planning on going up north. Then they heard the Shuttle was cancelled. So they turn around and came home. Then they heard about their grandma getting sick and they were there for her. So Ken and Trudy could have cancelled their trip, but felt that our Lord was in the mist of it and had peace knowing their kids were there to do what ever was needed. Our Lord is so good to us. We sometimes we forget to say thank you. So please say a prayer or two for her mom, she is 92 years old. That alone is enough to say thank you Lord.

The next picture you see is a old friend too. Her name is Stephanie. While I was working at Calvary, many years ago. I knew Stephanie has the one to help out with anything to do with the Women Ministry. She was there for everything.
She has three beautiful children, they live up north now in South Carolina. She was telling me about her trip to this private island here in the Bahamas. Our time was short but really was good to see her again and just to say hello and get a big hug. Oh the reason why we only meet for a couple of minutes was, she had to caught another plane to get back to SC. She did tell me that our Lord has been taking great care of her and all that has gone on in her life. She is blessed because she has trusted the Lord and He has taken good care of her and her family. I am blessed to call her a friend and maybe down the road I will get up her way and see what else is going on.

This couple came in yesterday on a ship, for a day here.

On Saturday we flew back home. Sept. 5thn 2026

Okay I got up early and took a drive. I went to Dunkin Donuts for 6 donuts and a couple of coffees. Oh, I got a couple of items for Billy. B...
