Busy week a head.

We started out on Sunday morning. It's so nice to go to church and walk away and say wow. The reason I say that is because, I am so blessed to understand our Pastor Craig. He has a away on how he teaches and how God's Word is so alive. Folks ever think about how God gives us GRACE everyday as we walk this earth? Well, I am so gracious for God's Word. How I can judge someone and say, how could they do that? Then I think, He gives me grace each day. Romans 6:6-7
Our old sinful selves were crucified with Christ so that sin might lose its power in our lives. We are no longer slaves to sin. (7) For when we dead with Christ we were set free form the power of sin.

Okay I think we drove straight up here to Indian River Fair Grounds. They have a Art's and Craft Festival. It really kind of neat seeing different items that folks make or just sell.

As we walk around, there is always food being sold at places like this. So, I got a hot dog and Jeanne got some bacon fried rice. Her rice was very tasty. My hot dog was okay. Over all i think we spent around $40.00 on different items. All I know it was very relaxing and at the end, we both were kind of tied.

I think we got there around 11am and left to go to Sam's club around 3pm. So that sun was beating down on my little bald head. I didn't put any sunscreen on before we left home that morning.
We got to Sam's Club and need to buy a lot of items for the school. we are making Thanksgiving dinner for all of Jeanne's students, that is for Tuesday and Wednesday.

I ordered our sticker for the F150. The sad part is I didn't change the mailing address. So, I paid for it back in September. I went to the motor vehicle place. They are having trouble with their web site. So, I had to make appointment to come back 11:00am. I was sitting outside for over a hour and half waiting to be taken care of. But at the end I got the sticker I needed, and all is well. It's kind of crazy how the web site works outside but not inside? Oh they brough in another van to take care of us. But it was lunch time and after I went into the first one, I came out and saw folks coming out of there too.

Jeanne had a doctor appointment down in Jupiter. So, afterwards she wanted a good hamburger. So we heard they have a Brass Ring now in Jupiter, so we can't go wrong? She used to go to the one down in North Palm Beach one. Her and Bubby use to eat there a lot of times. I think we have eaten there three times.

Okay, i was getting cold inside there, I came out to get a jacket. While walking out I saw this beautiful Rolles Royce. I am online now looking at what this car cost. 2024 Rolls Royce Cullinan Black Badge AWD- $548,200. WHAT????

We had a wonderful dinner and just kind of neat how everywhere you look there is a TV.
Food was very good and the service was too.

Oh, while inside I was telling Jeanne about the car parked next to ours. Rolls Royce, very nice. So, while Jeanne was walking around to see it. She tells me that it's not a Rolls Royce but a Cadillac. What? it's the Rolls??? Not, oh, okay, you are correct.

This is Nov. 14th. Folks I am writing this on Nov. 20th. I am so far behind on everything we are doing. But I am trying to get caught up.
Okay Debbie across the street, asked me to replace the faucet on this wash tub. I tried to turn off the water the week before. So, I told her I need to replace the valves that control the water coming into the wash tub.

You can see it's not an easy job to do.

I got out the torch and tried to warm up the valves and pull them off. NOT today.

So, I pulled off the face plates and cut the copper pipe. I went to Home Depot earlier and bought Shark Bite fittings. Valves.
I messaged the length of the pipe left over.
Should work out great. Which it did.

turned the water back on and no leaks. Thank you, Lord, for your wisdom.

I tried to get the old fittings off of the faucet. NOT TODAY. I ended up cutting them off.

I hooked everything back up and works great.
Debbie was very happy to see, and I hooked up her Ice Maker too.
Folks I am not sure about you, but it's so nice to look towards the Lord for wisdom and He gives it to you. We all need to look at our lives and think about how many times a day, He saves our lives one way or another.  At work, with family or even just living this day.
I am so blessed to have Him in the morning and middle of my day and at the end too. My prayers are that each and every one out there seek His face and ask Him for help, just to make it thru another day.
Remember this,
I am the way, and the truth, and life. No one can come to the Father EXCEPT THROUGH ME. (Jesus Christ) John 14:6

One of my neighbors needed a small job done,

So, I stated on Friday morning. Well, you can see the older hardware (has been sprayed with black paint?) is not what Debbie wants now.

Do you see the gold faucet? That is the color she would like all the hardware to look like. She has tried buying new hardware online and every time she orders something, it just not right. The hinges would be one color, the handles another color.

So, she stopped at Home Depot and found the correct color. Now after taking the top doors off. I washed the hardware the best I could. The reason is I know a lot of times there is grease and other items that have been on this hardware. So, trying to get everything off would be the best results so the paint holds on. There was one piece that she tried painting, right after I put the piece into the soapy water it just peeled off with no effort at all. Prayerfully this paint will stay on with no problems.

I sprayed each piece twice and then used the clear paint over each one. Trying to protect them.

I got the tops cupboards back up and looking pretty good. I can tell you this, it was not that easy to put the doors back up. Her son was sitting in the living room, and he came out and asked if he could help? Sure can, he held the door in place, and it turned out to be a piece of cake, putting them back up.

Jeanne and one of her sisters plus a niece with two children, asked if she would like to take a ride to Orlando and do some shopping. I really was kind of happy for her to go. The reason is they don't always see thing the same. They can butt heads. So, I decided to finish up this job, while she is gone. I got all the bottom doors and hardware off. Yesterday.
It kept looking like it was going to rain. So, I cleaned the hardware up and sprayed everything before going to Home Depot. I needed to go buy some more screws. I dropped a couple behind the stove and refrigerator. Plus, she asked if this next Monday if I could replace a faucet in the garage? So, I bought that too. Plus need to hook up the ice maker in there too. So, I bought a couple of things to do that job tomorrow.
Prayerfully it didn't rain, and I got all the hardware back on and put the doors back up. It was easier this time. I got down on my back and held them in place and screwed them into place. I got everything back together and she loved them.
Well today is a day set aside for spending time with our Lord Jesus Christ. I will be waking Jeanne up in a few minutes and we will be going to church. Then afterwards we hope to go to the Art and Craft Show up in Vero Beach. It's at the Indian River Fair Grounds.
Hope to get some pictures and share with you this next week about our relaxing fun day, praising our Lord and just having some fun too.
Folks we all need to seek His face and pray for Israel. It's our privilege and dedication to pray for them.
We are to back them in any way we can.
ISRAEL IS GOD'S PEOPLE.

Taking aluminum cans to the scrap yard.

A while back I was out looking for a replacement rim for the F150. The sad part was I had to order it online and spent $92.00 from E Bay. Okay the only reason I am bringing this up again is. I threw that old one in the back of my truck to get a buck or two back, at the scrape yard.

Now there are like three other bags on here that I found on the side of the road. Thinking the more the merrier. Hey, I think we have been saving these since we moved here. So, thinking, wow I should make some a few bucks?

WOW, I am so shocked, for 17 pounds all I got was $3.40 for all these cans. That is very disappointing.
Hey, the wheel (rim) came thru with $20.80. So, the new (old) rim cost me $70.00.
That was a nice surprise.
Folks I know someone is making some good money for selling aluminum cans. OH, it's the scrape yard. Before I drove out here to the scrape yard. I went online and looked and found that the avg. price per pound is $.45 I got $.20 a pound. That doesn't sound to fair. Oh, plus if you look at the receipt it $.20 cents I lost too. WHY?
Overall folks I will not being saving cans anymore. You know thinking, I was doing good. But after you empty out the can and rise it and smashing (flatting) so I could get more into the bag. Then dealing with ants where you show them. Our shed was my spot. It really was not worth my time or effort.
That is why we have recycling centers and have this big green garbage can to recycling.
No problem, I will be putting them into that.
So, how is your week going so far. It's kind of crazy that Thanksgiving is just around the corner.
All I ask is that you are talking with our Lord and letting Him guild you and direct your paths.
He loves you.

I have another job to do.

It really is surprising how fast mildew deve

To keep this clean, I need to pressure wash it at least every 3 months. It sure nice to see it somewhat clean. There are stains in the cement and that little pressure washer is not going to remove them.
It's like the stains we have on our souls.
Has Jesus removed them for your soul?
All you need to do is, ask Him and it's finished.
Hey that doesn't mean you will not sin again, that just means, you have a relationship with Him and He is always with you and living inside of you.
He loves you. I know for what I have learned in my Bible, if you ask Him into your heart, we will see each other afterwards.
Please Praise Him today and every day.

We had a chance to do TRUNK AND TREAT.

Okay how did we get to do this? Our church, The Crossing Community Church, was having this Trunk and Treat festival on Halloween evening.
We wanted to volunteer doing hot dogs or whatever else was needed. But we heard from the pulpit asking for cars to give out candy, many times.
Okay we talked about it and took a ride to Walmart. Walked in and saw many items are already gone. We bought some Halloween table clothes and a couple of head gears for us.
For me, there was a wig that had cullers in it. Looking like an older woman. Then Jeanne found this tut tut. She was going to wear it on her head. Plus was bought some window decals. Plus, something else. But then we drove over to the Dollar Tree. found out they had their Christmas things out already. We found some other things for the car.
While walking around in there.  We talked it over. We both don't really think Halloween is something to celebrate.
Okay how about decorating our car with Christmas? Okay we bought everything Christmas. Now remember this is Sunday night. The Dollar Tree was closing. So, I brought in the items we bought Dollar Tree back in and got our stuff exchanged and afterwards I took back Walmart too. Thinking Tuesday is Halloween, and they always reduce their prices on holiday things.
Got our money back and even went and bought more at Dollar Tree.

This is Pastor John in the cage. He was kind of nice to the people. Most times guys in the cage are loud and yelling saying things, you are weak, you can't hit anything.
John was saying, come on you can do it.

And she did, BAM John was in the water. It really was nice to see the folks that did come out and having some fun.

I was Santa Claus, and my wife was a Reindeer.

Overall, it was a small turn out but the ones that were there, had some fun and laughs.

There goes my little reindeer, going over to talk with some folks that were sitting in their cars.

My little girl sure knows how the make things happen. We didn't have anything made up for our car. So, Jeanne bought some snowflakes, and we taped them to a paper tablecloth and hung it up for our background. Plus, most of everything we used was from Dollar Tree. Except the Nutcracker and gold like Christmas trees, plus we bought the candy at Sam's Club.
It really was an enjoyable evening and I know my baby had some fun too.
Hey, just a side note. Some of the little children came up to our car and just looked at me. Some asked me, isn't it Halloween???
Jeanne told them, Jesus is why we are here at church. So why not celebrate His Birthday too.
One little girl was kind of scared of me. I got down to her level and talked her into getting some candy and she became my friend.
As the children walked away, I told them all, See you in a month or so.

As we were packing up our car, I saw these kids out there, shooting baskets. The one dressed up as one of Sponge Bob Square Pants, friend. I had to look it up on Google, Patrick Star. It was cute costume.
Well, folks I am not sure about you, but Jeanne and I really don't like Halloween anymore.
Before I became a Christian, I really enjoyed going out and getting candy and when we got older, I would go out to the bars and have a great time.
BUT now, Jeanne doesn't like scary movies or do anything about this day. I agree whole heartly.
Since I have been with Jeanne, Christmas is our favorite holiday. So why not celebrate every day we can. Thank you, Jesus, for coming to give us salvation thru Him.

On Saturday we flew back home. Sept. 5thn 2026

Okay I got up early and took a drive. I went to Dunkin Donuts for 6 donuts and a couple of coffees. Oh, I got a couple of items for Billy. B...
