Just want to say hello

Folks all day yesterday, I was out looking for parts and things that are needed for the next week's, work projects. It was a day of just driving here and there. I had a chance to go see a old friend, (Harri). He overs sees a place called the Paint Place. I did go to see him plus buy some paint. But the stuff I needed he was out. That is how it is here on a island. It seems so easy back in the states to go here and there to get what you need. But on a island it is not that easy. The neat thing is, they have another store on the other side Sandy Port. Today I will be out that way to get what is needed. Harri has been such a faithful friend. When ever I see him, Harri always has his hand out to shake. Plus ask how are you doing? With a big smile too. That to me is a friend. It really is a joy to see him. If you look back at my blog, he use to help us out on Fridays. But as I have had groups in, he has been getting some stuff done around his own home. Maybe in the next couple of weeks we can do some work together again?
Hopefully today I will be able to get the rest of the things I need. I am sorry but I have not taken any pictures during this time. Maybe by the end of the day I will have some? Kevin is staying the week -end with me and the group that is in now. It such joy to spend time with him. Last night I had him make up our dinner. It was so good. I make spaghetti, but after he made it, it really tasted great. I use the some stuff, but it must be his love to cook That is why it was so good.
I ask for prayer for him, still doesn't have a paying job. The time is still going and his bill is raising, at his sister's apartment. We made a deal with her to pay so much a month for him to stay there. I really don't think he is taking this that serious. He is 18 years old. Please Lord give me wisdom to show him the cost to live on your own. Folks when I was his age, I had a job, car and a place to live. It was not at my parent's place.  It cost me plenty to learn this lesson. I don't look back and stay that was a bad ting. It really showed me what lives is all about. It gave me a new in site. My prayer is that he learns this too.

It really neat to watch our new school being built right here on the same property that the old school is standing.

This was the first part of putting up the walls (Oct. 29th) at our NEW WESTWOOD HIGH SCHOOL. Our Principal, Mr. Alfonso tells us that all of...
