This last week there has been some work done to the old cottage B. It has been many years since we have even touched this building. Most of the time has been putting stuff into it to store. Now we have lost that. But we will be ganging a other place to have people stay. That is really a neat thing.
When I got here, 2005. This building only had the walls up. A while back there has been groups to come in and do some work on them. That was USA Missions. They are a group of skilled workers that needed a place to stay when ever they got over here. The deal was, they would build four houses. Then during their time here they would use two of them. The other two would be used by us as a Camp place for people to stay. Then in 2006 or 7 Patmos came over here. Plus Katrina hit the states. So almost every mission group that use to come here stopped. So over all, there has not been any work done on them except for Patmos. They put on one of the roofs plus put in the insulation, on this one. The other building, a group of roofers came over and put that roof on. (2006) I think.
So like I said before nothing has been going on since. It is sad, that we have to pay to get it done NOW. But I guess we have the funds and let us see what happens next.
