During the morning I just worked on packing some stuff up. Then around 11 am I knew I had to get ready to go down town and meet Marcia at the Green Parrot. So I drove down Blue Hill to get there. Mean while I noticed the traffic was siting still? What is going on? Then I heard the music. It was Labor Day and there was a rush out. That means the Families of Junkanno where dancing and playing their instruments. It really sounded pretty good. But the traffic was moving very slow. So that gave me enough time to take some pictures. Yet when you don't have anything to do, there really is always something to do. Maybe I should have been praying? So pictures are my life. It really was kind of neat how I had a chance to see the back of the Straw Market and enjoy sitting and looking around. I have a friend back in Florida, she told me to take a lot of pictures. So here they are.
I got to the restaurant and meet Marcia there. I was only 5 minutes late. We sat and talked and just enjoy getting caught up on all that has been going on. Plus she told me about things that have been happening in her life too.
The last three pictures here are behind the Green Parrot. They have a new
marine It has improved so nicely. It really looks great back there.
Okay our time wind down and I went back home. Laid around for a couple of hours. I am reading a book called At The ALTAR Of Sexual Idolatry by Steve Gallagher. It really is enjoyable to read. Hey all you guys out there should read this book.
My friend Pastor John let me barrow this. I stated reading it and found out how much I have enjoyed it. It ready speaks to me and I know others out there would enjoy reading it too. Guys you can tell me every time how strong you are and you got that under control. I will call you a Liar. Or you must be dead.
Okay I needed to get ready to go out to dinner to a friends home. Clarence and Carol Harrison. I got there a little early but it all worked out great. We sat around and just had a nice time and ate some ribs and veggies. The sad part is the times Harri has come out to help me and our time to just talk will be very much missed. But like I have been telling people I will be back to visit and I know they come over to the states too. Our time will not end. It is just a new way of friendship. I sure am looking forward in all that has been going on these last couple of days. I have said this before and say it again, NO GOOD BYES. Just see you later.
