What is today and Monday all about?

Okay today here in the Bahamas, is a holiday. It is Labor Day. Now looking over to the states we have our Labor Day the first Monday of Sept. If have known when I came in 2005, I came on Labor Day weekend. We had Water Manama. Boy I will ever forget that week-end. This is when God changed my whole life, I became a MISSIONARY. WOW. How I use to work for a living and have saving and pretty much any thing I wanted, as long as I had the money to buy it. Then coming over and depending on HIM? Now that was a eye opener. I came here with $14,000.00 in my saving. The first year or so, I was down to $100.00. At that time, I asked God what is going on? Do to want me to go back to the states? NO He said, NOW are you going to DEPEND ON ME?
Ever since that day, it has always been about Him and I have never been more blessed.
As my time winds down around here, leave on Tuesday, 10th. I have had lunch and dinner with my families. Not sure if I talked about that or not? But on Wednesday night I was at Ryan's home. Then yesterday had lunch with Monty. Last night was at the Slater's home. Today Marcia and I will have lunch. Then tonight at Harri's home. Tomorrow meeting with Calvary Singles. From there not sure what is next? But as my time is going by pretty fast, I have enjoyed every minute and looking forward in seeing my family at Calvary Bible this Sunday too.
Okay back to the holiday ting. Now on Monday it is Whit Monday.  The holiday originates from the Christian festival of Pentecost (also known as Whit Sunday). Pentecost is observed on the seventh Sunday after Easter. On this day the Holy Spirit visited the disciples and inspired them to go out and preach the word of Christ. For this reason the day is celebrated as the anniversary of the birth of the Christian church. Traditionally a time of baptism, the alternative name Whit Sunday, or White Sunday, derives from the custom of wearing white while being baptized. Whit Monday (the bank holiday) was of course the following day.
If you noticed I just cut an pasted this on here.
