Well is really has been a rough road for me this last month (May). Around May 1st, Pastor Chet came over here and we sat down and he asked for me to go back to Fort Lauderdale, Fl, for a while. So during my time. I was up set and just trying to find out what others thought? As my time as been winding down, I got to a point. Saying no one has really helped me out, to know what should I do? Okay now I need to seek God. The sad part is, that is where I should have started. No I want to talk to people and see what they say.
Okay Pastor Chet and I sat down a couple of Sundays ago, he let me vent and tell him what I thought. After that He told me he really didn't know what to say to me, until at this time, he did. He told me that I have turned ALC in my god. Looking back, I have and every time someone messes with ALC stuff, it would up set. I don't need to go back and explain any more about the passed. But it tell you I have peace and explaining more below, you might understand too.
Pastor Chet asked me to read my Bible. Which I do in the morning, devotion time. But he said no, just start reading any where and He will show you what to do. So I started out in Matthew. Read up to chapter 17. Didn't seem like I was listening correctly.
Okay on Thursday morning, I made plains to have lunch with Jim and Dot. They work, but no pay, at Calvary Chapel Ft Laud. So I got there a little early, 11:15 am. I was sitting down in front of Pastor Chet office. One guy walked in and sat next to me. I shook his hand and told him who I was. I live in Nassau. Well Harri, (not sure of his name, it begins with a H) Looked at me funny like, he told me that him and another guy are flying out that day to help out there at ALC. I asked him if he knew anything about engines? No he told me, I said you will be learning. Just joking. Then Branden came in and we hugged. Pastor Jorge came in afterwards. Then the staff for Out Reach all showed up. Everyone is standing around and talking. Then Pastor Jorge said let us get ready to pray. Then he asked me to pray for these two guys? I am joking now, Yet I will pray that they have a rough time over there and it is hard for them? Not, I prayed nice and asked God to bless their time and effort. To use them for His glory.
Had lunch with Jim and Dot. Left them and started thinking about buying a truck. While there why not go look and see what is out there. I stopped by a couple of use car lots. Everything was $7000.00 or more. No way could I buy any thing at that cost. So I stopped by Calvary Thrift Store, use car lot there too, same $7000.00 or more. Okay I went into the store and saw Becky there. I have known her since I became a missionary. She is the one that does my taxes each year. We talked for a while and she asked what about Kevin? What are you going to do with him? I told her I need to get settled in and see? So she had to help someone out at the counter. I walked around to the other side and saw a basket sitting there, key chain on top, with the name Kevin on it.

Okay that was strange? I showed Becky the key chain. WOW. She told me that she has seen other things even more crazy. She was telling me how God has helped so many people out at that store.
Okay still talking with her. A guy (Jason) came in and asked what does he do to donation of a car to the church? Becky looked at me and I her and said WOW again. I asked the guy why does he want to get rite of the car? He told us that he has bought a van or something like that for his family. The car was too small. I told him about what has been going on about me coming off of the mission field. He said WOW. But I spoke up and said, I can not do anything until I talk with Pastor Chet. The reason was I want to make sure. I respect his ideas.
I talked with the manger's daughter and told her the story. She took my card and promised to let her dad know all about me. Which I guess she did. I called the next day and talked with Jorge, manger. He told me that he has not even saw the car yet. I gave him my number again. Plus Monday afternoon I called again, yesterday and even this morning. I left two messages. This is a picture of the car too. below. Please keep this in prayer for me.
So while here I will be saying my good byes, but not really GOOD BYE, just see you guys down the road sometime. I talked with Mark this morning and he told me he told me on Friday that Pastor Chet would let me come back. But I guess when he told me that on Friday I was not listening, all I heard was I would not be in a leadership role. I heard that an said, okay that help make my mind up even easier.
Folks I know I have done some thing wrong, but pleases don't let it happen to you. Know what you know and don't try to fit the world. That is God's.
