Okay when I was back in Fort Lauderdale, Fl. I felt I needed to have my eyes examined. The reason is has been a couple of year since I have had that done. Plus back in 1999, around then. I had the laser ting done to my eyes. So I know my vision is starting to get, not sure how to say, the colors are not that bright any more and now I can see them again. It did cost me a pretty penny to get these, but why not. They are my eyes. At the end it was $300.00. Hey now I can see and I don't have to carry sun glasses, reading ones. So I am all set. It is just taking me a little while to get use to them.
Okay yesterday I went to devotions and had a chance to tell my story. Then the neat ting was the staff laid their hands on me and prayed for me. While walking around I saw we had a new horse. His name is Leo. he is 12 years old and he doesn't jump like he use to. So this place on the island here gave him to us. He sure is pretty, plus BIG.
During the afternoon, I drove over to Calvary Bible here and sat with Alan. He is one of the guys that over see the mission department there. So I called him and asked if we could talk? He said, come on over. So we sat and I explained to him all that has been going on in my life. How I believe my time here at the ALC is pretty much finished FOR now. Hey I am not burning any bridges. You never know what our Lord might have for me in a 6 months or so. I just wanted to share with him. Oh during my time there. They were having a retirement party for Marcia, She has been working there for around 12 years. She has been having some trouble with her back. So that is what the cake is about. Plus I had a chance to share a little with the staff there too. Kevin and I left and I took him back to our place at the camp. We sat around and talked and just got a little caught up on all that has been happening in my life, plus his. This is the part I will miss the most, having a son around and just hanging out. I am not saying any thing else on this. You never know what our Lord might have in store for us?
