.
This was my last ride out last week.
As I got to the train station, I was talking with a couple of the people trying to buy tickets. Well there are two machines on the south side. It would not give out paper tickets. If you wanted to reload your card, first you had to have one. Then reload it was $5.00. But if you don't have a card, it would cost $2.00 more to get one. So everyone around this station was saying I am not paying for that? So the officer that was there said just tell the person on the train where you got on at. Pompano Beach station. Which it worked. She said okay when she was checking our tickets. But I need to buy one any way to get back home. So it still cost me $5.00. But how can you not, just get on and ride back and forth all day long on week-ends $5.00. Greta deal.
Now you can see what time I got to the train station to rid back home.
This is along 79th Street. Heading east. traffic was not to bad.
Going over the first bridge to Miami Beach.
On Collins heading south to South Beach.
I was just talking with a friend here about my trip to Senor Frogs in the Bahamas. I can tell you this, it is not a place you want to bring 8 graders. That is what I did back in the Bahamas. Not knowing that. it just looked like a neat place to eat at. But not. The one in Nassau, is a party house. Open bar duirng different times. Free shots. Okay this is not where I ate at. Just saw it and had to take a picture.
That right made it down here again. As I was riding around I noticed the building are changing each time I come down here. New here and there.
Okay now somewhere around here I got lost. That right. I just kept riding north, thinking I will come up to the road going across again. To get to the Tri Rail. Not happening. Oh right after I had lunch my phone battery went dead. It was my own fault. I watched a video riding down about the Chunnel that goes from France to England. It really was enjoyable. But didn't realize how much battery went buy by.
Okay starting to get hungry and just wanting to stop. Okay Little Cesar's.
Well I kept on riding north. I saw a sign saying 922/95. Okay that will work too. Got on US 1 and thinking I am still below the Causeway? So I headed more north. got up to 126th street. Now my thighs were burning inside. You know cramping? Boy I was starting to really hurt. But as I stopped for more water stops, started feeling better. I was low on fluids. That was my own fault. I knew I was and kept riding thinking I will be okay.
Got back to the train station, just in time. the rain was happening below us.
Well I have not rode this far since the Bahamas. When going down there and back usually go about 30 to 34 miles.
