I started out about 10:30 am. I have been talking with Eddie. He has been sharing with me all the neat things he has been part of. So as I had off on Monday and Tuesday. I drove up to go see him. It was a pleasant ride. I took 95 up to Fort Perice and drove east. Then headed north on A1A. I thought I would stop a couple of places on the way up. Eddie was not looking for me until 1:30pm.
I wrote about this place a year ago. It really brings back memories. Short story, when I was kid our family would go to Abbots Frozen Custard stand. It was about 15 miles away from our home in Webster, NY. Enjoyable times there.
Okay my poor little ruck is starting to have leaks. Not sure where? But as I check the transmission fluid I see she is low side. I have put one quart in, in the last couple of weeks. Not bad yet. But maybe this stuff will help?
This is my friend Eddie. As we just hung out and drove here and there. We got some what caught up. For dinner on Monday night we went to the Fire House Sub shop. The food was good and the company was too.
This is the park that Eddie lives in.
This is the club house there.
Eddie got this place for a song. He has been fixing it up and painting and pressure washing it. He really has been blessed to call this place his home now. He has lived here for over 3 years. During his time here, he has been helping out at the Vet's Home cooking breakfast each Monday morning at 5 am. Plus he use to go around and pick up the out dated bake goods at Publix. Plus the sandwichs at 7/11. Plus other places. He really has had a ministry in doing all that. So yesterday we stopped at the church he attends on Sunday. The reason for stopping there was, Eddie pretty much gave that run up at Publix. He has enough going on with the other runs. Picked up some bake goods an just started driving around and dropping a couple of items off at different homes. These are some of his friends that just needs a little something every once and while. So to finish off my time there. We got back to his place and it was time for me to get going back.
