It is so funny to watch these guys and gals. I walk by and they are saying, hey how about our food? I get to feed them twice a week. See all those small pieces floating around. That is very small pieces of shrimp. We buy it frozen and I all I have to do it pull out 12 cubes and set them in water. Then come back about ten minutes later and pour it into the tank. They are feed. Plus there is a auto feeder built right in the tank itself.
This is one of our lizards named Priscilla. She really is a beautiful creature. I get to change out her water when ever it is needed. The kids just love to check her out. We have been talking about trading her in for a small model. You know a baby. But not at this time. Josh. Brandon, Jeremy and myself have been trying to tame her a little. By picking her up and just holding her. She is like a scaredy cat. Runs when ever we open her cage up.
This aquarium was put in back in 2001 (I think)
This is the bottom floor of the children area. I remember when this was being done. Not sure date wise. But it had to be around 2000 or so.
This is Steve. Him and a couple of other reptiles live up on the second floor.
Strecth, he pretty much stays in his cave during the day. But at night he loves to climb around
This is Lizzy I love picking her up and just holding her. She really is beautiful too.
Okay here is Steve. I will pick him up and hold him for a little while. But I still feel funny about that. I use to pick up King at the ALC. he is a 7 foot Bahamian Boa. During our Fun days we would pick him up and put him around our necks and let the kids touch him.
This is the up stairs of the small children, 1 to 6th grade area. I am so blessed to be part of this my church and a place to work at. You can see how our staff makes this place look so good, with the all the neat stuff.
