I am not sure what evening we all went out to dinner? But I do remember what I ate. Fish Fingers Snack. Hey it sure was nice evening spending it with Tim,Faye and Bob. It is always a joy to see these folks. But like I said, time is almost gone.
I do remember this is Tuesday at the ALC. Every morning at the ALC there is a time set aside to do a little devotion and get caught up on all that is happening that day.
After wards I was talking with Adam, Tim and Bob about the front gate. Hey folks we rebuilt this gate back in 2012 (I think) But looking at it, it is in worst shape it was back then, after 20 years use. I am not sure what happen. But when we built this, I used treated lumber and even used foam between the boards.
This really breaks my heart. We worked on this for over a period of time. Doing everything we can to make it look good an prayerfully last for the next 20 years.
So maybe during the next couple of months or so, I might be thinking about coming back and help redoing it???
Nice looking truck. It is neat how these guys are always willing to help out. I had a bunch of trash from Tim's jobs. They helped me load it up and it all went away.
Mr.Bob is working on replacing a starter solenoid. When you try to start the bus the glow plugs are not warming up enough. Thinking maybe this will help out.
This is what this place is all about. The student and children that come though here each day. They all get a chance to hear about God's Creation.
This is one of the neatness ting I have ever been part of. Building this puppet stage. When we first talked about building it, I thought wow this is going to rock this island. Which I believe it did.
I am very proud to say many students have had a chance experience the puppet show. Plus after wards there is always a time to pray and let The Spirit work in each students heart.
This has been a tradition for many years, while I lived here. We go out on Tuesday afternoon for lunch. This is the New Popeye's in the area. It really was a neat time to just hang and eat some good old fashion chicken. I just love each and everyone of these folks here.
They are Faye, Tim, Adam, Bob and Billy. You will get to know him and his family tomorrow.
As Tim and Adam had a couple of items to fix.I got to do two oil and filter jobs. One on Tim's truck and the other on the Ford that the staff uses. The oil on both of them was a little passed do. Black and dirty. I just hung out with Bob and had a wonderful time, hearing about all him and his wife have been up to. While they live in Canada. It is a little different way of life there. Their dollar is not doing to good right now. But as long as they have family and friends up there, they are staying.
But during the winter time, they become what we call Snowbirds, in Florida. Very smart and wise folks.
I just love having the opportunity to go over there and help out and just enjoy my old friends there.
