This door has not been finished for a little while..

This is before.

During Christmas, Jeanne gave me a nice fold up work bench (DeWalt)  I think I have only used one other time. That was for holding my tools. So this day it really had a chance to prove how nice it is to have around. It held my lumber in place while cutting it. It held my tools, when needed.
Over all a great gift. Thank you honey.

Okay I asked her to pick out some trim and we would finish them up. There was some more framing around the door to build it up so everything matched in size.

At the end it is finished. She loves it and now we can move on to another project.
Folks what a beautiful feeling to be able to see something that is needed and be able to do it. Hey while I lived in the Bahamas for those many years. I learned how to do difference projects. The reason is I had a friend named Tim. He loves working with lumber and just making things look nice. He really taught me many things about woodwork and just basic stuff about making thing out of lumber.
I have been very blessed to be able to be part of his life and really miss working along side of him.
Tim and his wife, Felicia plus two children, now live back in Wisconsin. They came back to the states after I did.
I know they go back an forth every once and while to help out at the All Saints Camp, plus.

Hey today is MOTHER'S DAY. I really hope and pray that you will take advantage of spending time with YOURS.
