Not sure when, maybe two weeks ago. We put in a new water system at Jeanne's house. This is how bad the water was before the new units.
We started cleaning it up with Iron Out. It is power you can buy at Walmart for $5. or so. It works but it takes a long time to get the rush stains out.
So we have used muriatic acid, to clean the stone off.
The bad part is using either one there is a smell that just hurts the inside of your noise and even your throat.
But in the end it all all worth the time and smell.
Now my prayers are that we will not have to use this stuff again to clean the
shower walls off.
I really think it is looking good and it will stay that way.
