Well back in Sept. I bought this smoker for Jeanne's birthday. We really been talking about making something with it. But it never happen. So she had some pork ribs in the freezer. Pulled them out on Friday. So as we got up yesterday, she rubbed them down with her mixture.
Started a fire in the right canister.
They sure started looking good.
She took them out of the tin foil and let them cook again. She said this is to cook off the some of the juices.
After all of her work, we had our selves a great Memorial dinner.
I really hope and pray your day was relaxing and joyful.
The sad part for yesterday was, thinking of all of the parades that didn't happen. I know a couple of my old guys use to be so proud to walk in them.
Plus back when I was in Cub Scouts/Boy Scouts. I use to walk in them too.
Plus this week-end use to be the start of our summers up north.
Saturday my dad and mom would go shopping and get the back yard all cleaned up and get ready for a family reunion. That would happen on Sunday (all day)
Then Memorial Day we would all go downtown, Webster and watch the parade with my some of my family.
Folks life has not stopped, we just need to remember all our Veterans have done for us and realize FREEDOM COSTS.
