Well this morning, Jeanne and I went out in behind our property, Chris's property. We dug up a bout 8 pineapple plants. At first we dug up some larger ones. But Jeanne found out, the larger ones have already given fruit. So we dug up the small ones. Afterwards, I went back over to Chris's property to get the edging we need to make the pineapple garden look good.
We saw these clay pipes in the ground and Jeanne thought they would look good around the pineapple garden. So I dug these up and loaded them on the back of truck. I got 30 plus.
So the first thing we did was take down the satellite dish. Then I dug up the grass and weeds. The I ask my wife to show me how she would like it to look. So we put the pipes in the ground, but it would be to tall for the sprinklers, Trying to say, our sprinkler head only rise up 6" So then it would not water the pineapples or even the grass around this area. So we laid them down and looks great to me. But what really cost is what does my baby think?
She liked them laying down. So now what? I put the weed barrier down. She asked where a I going to put the new dirt? I was thinking on top of the black sheets. NO the dirt needs to be under the sheets? Okay honey if that is what you want, you got it. So we lifted up the black sheets and put the new dirt down. Then put the sheet back over the mount. She love it.
She asked me not to put the mulch on top the the plants. No problem baby. I think it looks great and ready to get some pineapples.
I bought 15 bags of mulch and spread it around some what.
I am not sure what days this was, maybe Monday? But got this one of the fruit trees, cleaned out, the weeds.
Folks weeding is not my way to having fun, but it is needed to stay on top of them has much as I can.
During the week-end the weather was chilly and right down COLD. but as I look out side this morning, Wednesday. It is raining and 60 plus.
Oh during the evening time last night, The water got shut off. I didn't really find out why, until earlier this morning. The city had a broken water line downtown.
But as time went by this morning, I was up at 5am. trying to find out, why didn't have water. Then check to see if any water is coming out of the water spickets. NO. Check to see it the meter is running? No. The good thing was, raining out, I had a pail of water under one of our gutters. so we could flush the toilet, ad least.
But as I am writing this, the water is back on. Praise the Lord.
Today is what people call HUMP DAY. so enjoy it.
