I need o back up a little, this is Friday night dinner and then Saturday (22nd of Jan)

Yes this was Friday night dinner. Wow great feast, we drove down to Stuart, Fresh Market during last  week-end before. Yes, Fresh Market is like Whole Food's. Very nice meats and fruits, plus. So the prices are on the high side. I am not one to usually go into places like this. But my baby enjoys good food and knows what she likes. So on this day we bought three steaks and other items. So on Friday evening this was our dinner. It was very tasty and enjoyable. Plus she made Corn Pudding. That was great. At the end I ate way to much and went to bed with a tummy ache.
Oh well, the next day we headed up north to Vero Beach. Need to go to Sam's Club and Walmart up there. Driving along route 60 , saw a couple of signs, Antique Show at the Indian River Fair Grounds.
I asked Jeanne if she would like to go? Sure enough, she would love to.

We got here and the cost was $8.00 each. No credit cards, or debit. Okay I think we had around $30.00, all together. Walked in and walk around the tents first. It was bitty cold. The wind went right thru you. But as we walked around, Jeanne found some things she really liked.

I saw a couple of items too. But really didn't want them at the end. But look a Sheaffer Pen Set. I have not seen them since I have been a kid. Had to take picture, ad least.

You can see there a few more tables on the other side. So as we walked around. Jeanne saw a couple of other things she would like to buy.

Well like I said we really don't carry much money with ourselves. The reason is, most places take a credit car or debit cards. Well when we walk in I saw a ATM machine near the entrance. Jeanne asked if we could get some more funds? Okie Dokie. See what I can do? There was a person a head of me and got some money. I got up there and did my pin number and all to get to HERE. HOW MUCH? $3.50 FEE??? That is crazy, but I know Jeanne would say, go a head and get $100.00. Which I did and walked back over to where she was. Told her and that was the end of that conversation.

Thinking back I am not sure of all we bought. but I did talk with the guy here about how he got into selling rusty iron things? He told me, him and his dad use to go out medal scraping. That means, driving around and just picking up, other peoples junk. I have talked about that about a year or so. We were cleaning out the house (2709) Jeanne wanted to sell it and we did. We needed to get it emptied out. There was all kinds of scrap medal around, in the back of the house. So I took it down to the scrap yard and got a few bucks. Okay back to the story, so the guy and his dad decided to try selling it.
Not sure if I hear him right? But I heard him say, they sell about $5,000. as shows like this. Crazy $5,000.????

As Jeanne walked into the building, I saw this one tent over here and had to stop.

As I was walking I saw this. SCHAFER. I asked the guy who this was? He had a story to share with me. Well this Schafer, had a bread factory and raced speed boats. I think he said he was from up state Michigan. Well I just thought this was kind a neat to see. This is how we spell our name.
I am not sure why he has a whole roll of these labels? Oh he was telling me that, if you buy one label and put it in a frame, you can see it for, like $39.00. Okay I guess that is a good thing?
Now I caught up with Jeanne in the building and walked around and  saw some nice stuff.

Jeanne finished up and was ready to go on to Sam's club and the rest of our places we need to stop. I saw these two tables with post cards on them. All kinds of post cards. There was even a box that had post cards from car dealers. I had to look to see if my dad's card was in there? When I dad sold new cars, he always sent out post cards with his picture on the front of it. But they didn't have any of them.
But I did see this newspaper. First of all The Times Union, I use to help one of my friends, Ken Tice. deliver newspapers to our neighborhood. He had a small route. Okay sometimes he needed help or him and his family would go on vacation. So it was my route then.
Okay back to the Newspaper. Well I remember when President Kennedy was shot. I was in 6th grade. I do remember getting a special  load of newspapers on that day. It was called EXTRA. I remember standing in the middle of Bay Road and Lake Road. yelling, EXTRA EXTRA, READ ABOUT OUR PRESIDENT GOT SHOT.
I guess this paper came out in a few days afterwards.
I do remember being some very sad days after he was shot.
Well this paper now is selling for $72.00? Now just think if was a hoarder? If I kept papers like this, to this day. WOW. I would be a rick man.
BUT folks I am a rick man. By the glory of The Lord. He blesses me each and everyday.
Please tell Him today, Thank you for all you have.
