I know this is kind late, but still cute.

This was at our favorite restaurant, The Draft House. On Wednesday evening they have 1/2 pound hamburgers for $5.50. How can you go wrong? 

Great sports bar too. 

The next story I will be sharing is our short trip to Austin Texas. The day after Christmas we left for a trip to visit family and friends. 

We started out and this was our place to have lunch. 

We found this hotel on line. It is called At Home. This was our first stop, in Pensacola, Florida. We spent the night here and got up the next morning and drove to the Naval Air Station. That is where Jeanne's mom and dad are resting in peace. 

We left there and drove to Lafayette, Louisiana. 

We are meeting her sister Donna and LJ (hubby). Having dinner and spending the night there.

I guest we are driving thru Mobile, Alabama? I took this picture and I am glad I did. This is how I found out where we were. 

There was a big traffic back up going thru the tunnel. So my baby got on Google Maps and found out how to get around this mess. 

It took us a couple of turns, but found our way out of town. 

We need to make a pit stop. 

So guest we are in Mississippi, now. 

This was a rest area we stopped at. 

Well we made to Lafayette, Louisiana. Had a wonder dinner with, my baby, her sister (Kathi) Then this is Donna (sister) and her hubby LJ. 

Folks this trip was like a burr. I am back home, here in Ft Pierce and trying to remember all the places we drove. 

I know my little girl was very happy to see her sister and brother in law. After dinner we drove to the store and bought a birthday cake for Donna.

Got to their home and sat around talking about what has been going on in their lives and told a little about what we have been doing too. 

Jeanne and LJ. worked on finishing up the cake. They didn't have a cake with strawberries on it, So LJ and Jeanne and fitted it up.

We sang Happy Birthday and she blew out the candles and we ate a little piece and off to bed we went. 

Jeanne and I got the guest room and Kathi slept on the sofa. 

Boy this trip is a world wind. We slept pretty good and I got up early and let Jeanne sleep in a little. 

Kathi got up early and we sat outside and talked a little about what her plans. She wanted to get home before her hubby TJ. had to get back to driving in a couple of days. 

Well folks I will keep on going with this trip tomorrow and see all the neat things we saw. 

I thank Our Lord each day for letting me be part of Jeanne's life and going on rides like this. I am very blessed. 

Now as today is starting up Jan 5th. I will be helping out at the thrift store picking up some things and delivery some things too.

It took me two days to write this blog, so it shows up on Jan 4th I see.
