Okay about two weeks ago, after our cold spell, I went to turn the sprinkles back on. But no water is flowing out. Thinking, maybe the pump it leaks inside, or not pumping at all. I took it to a guy (Ron French) he has been doing pumps over 40 years. I dropped it off and came back and he told me that there was nothing wrong with the pump itself. That is when I put in additional check valve. Thinking maybe the old check valve is leaking passed it.
So, Ron told me to call him if that didn't fix the problem. He drove over and took a look; we started the pump up like three or four times. It started working. Must have been air in the system. Ron did say, it might stop working again. If so, we have a vacuum leak in the well line itself.
So, I started digging around thew line to see what I needed to do. I was praying, Lord please don't let me kill this mango tree, (it's our best one)
I got it all somewhat cleaned up and ready to install another line down inside the 2" steel well line.
I had another 1 1/4" coupling from the time I replaced the new check valve. I just tried to see if that would go down into the pipe. NOT. Okay now what. Oh, buy a bell end on the new 1 1/4" PVC pipe. This way it should fit down inside. (not knowing they were the same size at the time)
I went to Home Depot and bought 1 piece of scheduled 40 1 1/4" 10 foot, plus a couple more 1 1/4" coupling to put the pipe back together. Then drove over to Melrose Irrigation. Bought a 20' piece of bell 1 1/4" PVC. Strapped it the side of my truck. Got home and unloaded everything.
Dropped the 20' down into the pipe. The bell is too big too. IT's the same size. I called Ron and asked about what should I do now? He told me that Horizon Irrigation carries a NESTING COUPLINGS. So, I drove over there and bought one Nesting 1 1/4" Coupling. At first the guy behind the counter didn't have a clue what I was asking for. Then I told him what I needed and why? He understood then. He told me it's called a TURNED COUPLING. Oh, okay, please that's what I need.
The one on the left-hand side it the turned coupling. You can see it really does look like someone put it on a lath and turning it down.
It fixed perfecting. I did pull all the 20' out of the steel pipe first. I tried to see if the couple would fit. YES. Then I cut tot bell off of the 20' pipe and glued the 20' and 10' together and slid it down the steel pipe and fittings great.
I reglued everything back together and looks pretty good.
Hey folks, I don't believe anything about being Friday the 13th. But today was the 13th. Praise the Lord. It all went to together.
After caulking I thru some dirt on it and went and primed the line. Started it up.
You can see it works and Praise God for people like Ron. I called him and told all is well. He told me I might have some other troubles down the road to give him and call, and he will see if he can help.
Het everyone, Jesus Christ loves you and wants you to just talk to Him and He will answer your prayer.
It might be WAIT, YES OR NO. Pretty much my answers are WAIT.
Most of the time I WANT IT NOW.
Please, I fall short every day. So, is if you are like me.
KEEP SEEKING HIM, PLEASE
