My last few posts on here have been pretty heavy. Have you ever put the wrong thing in anything?

Yesterday, Jeanne (wife) was making some oatmeal. She asked me for the bottle of Ground Cinnamin. I gave it to here and she mixed it in. So, now we are sitting in her classroom getting ready to enjoy some great tasty oatmeal. As I was mixing some milk and brown sugar in, I told her I smell chili. The funny thing is she made chili for the student this day. Oh, well, she told me no way. Maybe my smell is coming from the kitchen? Okay, I started eating it and told her, no way, I smell chili. powder??? 

Hey, she told if I don't like it throw it out. I told it taste good, but still, there is chili in it. Maybe one of the students playing a joke on us. They put the chili powder in with the cinnamon. I finished eating and picked up the bowls to wash them. While walking over to the sink I just walked over to the stove area and found this GROUND CUMIN, on and table. I showed it to her and another coworker standing next to her. We all laughed and said WOW, MISTAKE IN ON ME, Tom. 

Now take a good look, sometimes I just look and see something that looks familiar and said that's it. Which now you can see how that could have happened??? 

The colors are very close. 

Okay this morning we had some left-over from yesterday and I didn't have any bagels to have for breakfast. So, I pulled it out of the refrigerator and added some more cinnamon and brown sugar, Then I put it in the microwave and could smell the chili again. I just started laughing and just thought how it all happened again. 

Now that funny??? I even shared a text yesterday with my buddy that lives in Maryland. I even texted him again this morning, laughing. 

And then I shared with him about what Jesus shared in Mattheew 13:33. Jesus also used this illustration, "The Kingdom of Heaven is like yeast used by a woman making bread. Even though she used a large amount of flour, the yeast permeates

 every part of the dough. 

It's like the chili powder PERMEATE the oatmeal. 

I just love when I can remember scripture, I might not know where it might be. But by looking and searching, plus Google is very helpfully too.  

Hey, I know it's been a while since I have posted anything, 

All I know is God is in control and I need to stay focused on HIM.
