Okay the next day the 17th, There will be around 50 people coming to have lunch here at Westwood. So, my little girl is always trying to find different things to make her luncheons and events have something special. So, she found this this small trick with a large fork and tablecloth. All she is doing it twisting one way and letting it be drawled up and there is a ROSE on the tablecloth. It really did look nice.
But after doing it to all the black tablecloths I didn't like it. I asked Jeanne about putting the maroon tablecloths every other one.
This is thew way we left it on the 16th. Next day is the event.
I came back around 11am and help out. The students pretty much did everything else.
These are just a few of the students that did this evet. They went out and served and did whatever Chef Gray told them to get or do. I stayed back and made sure everything was getting out and cleaning at the same time. It really did run pretty smooth. The students helped me when I asked. It really went very well.
Now these are some of the people we fed and served. They are part of the board plus private owners of businesses and companies that need student willing to work and do things in the community.
These folks seemed to be delighted by the way the luncheon went and the food we delicious and the server did well too.
Jeanne and I got out of here around 6pm or so. Jeanne was very pleased on how good the students behaved and did their jobs very well too. Oh, the students got to take some food and they were very appreciated.
Well, I am still reading in Daniel.
I read chapter 5 is talking about A new King has taking over for Nebuchadnezzar throne. Google tells me about 10 to 25b years have passed since chapter 4. King Belshazzar is now the new King Darius in in charge now. Meanwhile his advisors saw how Daniel would pray three times a day to God, They didn't like him doing that, so they all came back to the king and told him to place a law for thirty days that no one can pray or anything like that to no one else than King Darius, So, I guess the king didn't know about Daniel praying three times a day to God.
Sad part happen was those people that didn't like Daniel praying to God, got their law in place and went to Daniel's place and caught him praying and brought him to the King Daries and told him how Daiel went against the kings Law. So, he had to have Daniel throwing into the loins den. That evening King Daries was fasting and worried about if Daniel will be a live the next morning???
God was watching over Daniel, During the night My God sent his angel shut the loins mouths so that would not hurt me, for I have been found innocent in HIS sight. Right after they got Daniel out of the loins den, the King ordered to arrest the men who had maliciously accused Daniel. He had them thrown into the lion's den along with their wives and children.
You can just image what happen to them afterwards. The King Darius sent a message to the people of every race and nation and language thought-out the world.
The God of Daniel is the only One to worship. There is so much more to know about Daniel. I hope you take the time and read it for yourselves. Thank you for taking the time to read all.
