I am so blessed to tell you about all that has been happening here at the ALC. This gentleman is Bob. Him and his wife Faye have been part of our ministry here at the ALC for over 5 years? Might even be more? But one ting I can say about those two. If you need help, they are at your side.
Bob and I have been working on this Ford Explore now a couple of times. Last week Bob found a hole in the radiator and we took it down to Ralph's. They had to put a new end on. Went and picked it up and put it back in. Guess what it leaks again. So we took it out and brought it back to Ralph's and he repaired it again. It is back in and looks great.
The two batteries you see in the top picture. Well here is another story. The gate opener has been down for a while now. The board was fried at one time. While back in the states I got a new one. We put it in and found out there is another problem. The transformer is fried too. So now what do we do? Well it is battery back up. So we just let it run on the battery. That ran for about 6 days. Guess what the battery is dead now. Now what do we do???? Okay Bob, he tells me why not use a car battery? I thought no that would not work? Okay why wouldn't work? It is 12 volts and the small battery I took out is 12 volts. Yes it will work. So now we are running the gate on a car battery. So yesterday we built this box. Hooked up a little charger to it. You know a trickle charger. So it should last for a long time now. With out having to buy a new transformer. I am so stoat to see how God shows Bob tings and myself. He is right along side of us and He is the One that runs the show. We have a chance to be used by He and that is the neat part.
